Londoners love the Elisabeth line dearly. The reason is that the most important thing to a Londoners is the values of his or her house. The Elisabeth line enhanced house prices as stations are closed and commuting made easier and more comfortable. HS 2 is detested as stations are too far apart and Di it eng gance house prices.
Similarly the HS 2 HS 1 link has no house price benefits and only makes Northerners journeys more comfortable and that is of no importance to HM government. | |

This thread is ironic given how the poster feels about English lawyers getting work in Swansea...he doesn't want them in his backyard.
