Our bench was Bianchini Christie Fulton Abbey Abdulai McLaughlin Naughton Tjoe-A-On Who in that list doesn’t weaken us considerably? The only real arguments you can make are Bianchini for Peart-Harris and Bianchini/Vipotnik for Cullen. Possibly that will change if and when Eom, Ginelly, Govea and Parker are available, but at the moment we’re playing a squad game with not much more than a starting eleven.

So you haven't seen him play live for the first team? EDIT I also saw him have poor games for the u21s as well as decent ones, possibly we were not at the same games, possibly we were. Often the highlights do not tell a true picture, mistakes are not shown often. [Post edited 25 Nov 14:56]

He is looking like a rabbit caught in headlights. I’m not sure being picked to play in the first team is being badly treated ?

There is a world of difference between the under 21 league and the Championship. To illustrate that point our under 21 s lost this season in a welsh league cup tie to Baglan Dragons. That’s not disrespectful to Baglan who are a hard working team playing in the Cymru South but it’s a million miles away from the Championship it really is. Back on point, Fulton has done well for Swansea City. He is still a valuable member of our first team squad albeit a bit limited in what he can offer, he’s a fully committed wholehearted player always.

World of difference between playing first team games in a position that you've never played in before vs the one you've spent your entire development learning how to play. If we chucked Kyrell Wilson in the side and made him play central defence then the iffy performances that would no doubt result from that wouldn't be his fault either. We saw the same thing with Latibeaudiere being moved from a defensive role to a winger, or Whittaker & Ntcham being played out wide. Sometimes coaches try to be unnecessarily clever and the players themselves end up copping the blame for it.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

What I have seen of him in the first team, he might just cut it at League 2 level. Might.
| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

I just don’t think he’s got the overall footballing ability to cut it at Championship level regardless of what position he plays.

a bit like moving Leon Britton who had spent his career as a winger converting to defensive midfield?

Is that the same Cullen who scored two and made two for Cymru last week and also scored yesterday? Perhaps with better players around him he would be even more successful ?

Personally I wouldn't trust him in a central midfield role, he has to many mistakes in him. I can see the point of trying to integrate him in the squad/team but he is not doing the basics correctly.

Is it a case of poor concentration levels in some of these youngsters, they have balls coming at them from different angles and it is as if they never seen one coming at them like that or think they know what they are going to do next but take their eyes off the ball. Key is similar when the high ball is played diagonally over head he just doesn't make a descion how to deal with them and gets caught in no man's land luckily for us he has good pace to recover and Cabango defends the front post well on the righthand side.
