England's best football DJ on 17:40 - Jul 6 by BlueMessiah
To be fair he was mixing it up a bit towards lockdown. Some days it would be: Elephant Stone Saturn 5 Roll With It
Other days: Roll With It Saturn 5 Elephant Stone
And sometimes: Saturn 5 Roll With It Elephant Stone.
Thinking about it, I'm not quite missing Spotland as much as I thought I was.
I wish the Stone Roses never happened, or they came from somewhere like fooking Hemel Hempstead or sommat. At least then we, in (Greater) Manchester, could at least have a little more variety.

The Charlatans - they should have called themselves the Cliches.
Don’t fookin start me on them. They supported the manics at the Apollo once (when Judd got whacked by a bouncer) and they were definitely the worst band I’ve ever seen live.

See, the Manics. They’re from Wales but all Welsh bands don’t go around dressing like Tom Jones do they? Nobody refers to it as South Wales music. They’re just a good band from somewhere, anywhere.

Tell us more about judd getting whacked by the bouncer, that sounds like an ace story
1. The theme tune to the Castrol GTX advert. It’s intriguing, alluring, unashamedly masculine and futuristic. Just need to dub the bloke’s voice out talking about engines and lubrication. 2. The Theme tune to Battlestar Galactica - futuristic obvs. but also reflective of a journey with battles. 3. Big Fun, Can’t Shake the Feeling. No superlatives required.
