Ah yes, says £16 for 5-30kg to London.
As my world has got smaller in lockdown, I'm pleased to be able to get beer from a two minute walk to our local Tesco Metro. Not very noble, but there's some lovely stuff close at hand (until 11pm!).
Magic Rock Dark Arts Surreal Stout, 6%. The right side of bitter, not the wrong side of sweet. Dangerously enjoyable at £5 for 3.
Northern Monk Faith, £5.80 for 4. The official beer of The Last Kingdom. Me and Master Sheen clank glasses every time someone raises a horn cup and roars. |

I got a taste for German Helles lager. Might not be to everyone's taste, but I find it light and refreshing. It has to be served really cold though.
My top picks:
Augustiner Helles (5.2%)
First had it in Berlin where it's really common and cheap, but here it seems to only be available in my local trendy 'bottle' shop. It's a bit pricey, so only have it on special occasions or summer time. On a hot day this larger is amazing, definitely my favourite.
Camden Helles (4.6%)
My go to drink. Always have it in my local co-op and it's tried and tested. Comes in the stumpy cans which I find works really well. It's a slightly different textured can to your usual ones, don't know if this makes a difference? I always drink it from a glass anyway.
Camden Unfiltered Helles (4.6%)
Had this on draft a few times but haven't seen it anywhere for years. Might be available in some pubs around Camden? I wasn't aware of this 'unfiltered' business before, but I do remember it tasting really crisp, with none of the bitterness you sometimes get. The best draft lager I've had. |  | | |

Co-op's own label bottled ales are superb and nicely priced.There is an IPA and a
golden ale which i love.They are brewed by Robinsons in Stockport and they have certainly helped me through the last year. | | | |

My standbys are:
Bitters: Speckled Hen, London Pride and when I'm feeling flush, Leffe Brun.
Lager: Hop House - a lager that actually tastes of something! Also San Miguel.
And I always have a few canned 'draft' Guinnesses in the house.
I'm also looking for decent alcohol-free beer if anyone has any suggestions. I've tried a few, but have always been disappointed. |  | | |

I think there were a lot of low alcohol beer recommendations on the Dry January thread on here if you can find it.
I’ve been laying off the alcohol during the week last few weeks. I tried the Erdinger Alcoholfrei or whatever it’s called which was ok at best. I’d probably have it again.
A friend recommended the Stella no alcohol beer to me. Far removed from what I usually go for but its really not bad at all. If lager’s your thing then there isn’t a lot not to like.
One bottled beer I’ve not seen mentioned on here is the Sainsburys (taste the difference) London Porter (5% abv). It can be a little inconsistent but when it’s on form it’s really lovely.

Old Tom deserves a mention too if not already - squat little bottles of joy.
Ashdown for alcohol free, the Dry January thread does have quite a few good suggestions on there which I really appreciated. The 3 best ones I've found are:
- Brooklyn Special Effects (found that in Waitrose last weekend lah di hah...)
- Franzikaner Weisebeer Alkoholfrei (excuse spelling)
