I think he got that last decision wrong. The SA feller wasn’t held in the tackle. Should have been a try | | | | Login to get fewer ads

It’s just that maul that should win SA the game. A bit frustrating when one single tactic can overwhelm all that enterprise and flair. I expect the bully boks to get a stranglehold as the japs run out of puff.

It's a different game up front for the forwards nowadays. Rucking in his day was not for the faint hearted. Some of the head scars the players of the 80's and 90's have are a testament to the brutality.

RUGBY WORLD CUP 2019 THREAD on 12:25 - Oct 20 with 1357 views | PozuelosSideys | That was hard work. Don't need many of those on an early Sunday morning. Stinking the place out at the moment but grinding out wins which is all that matters in tournament play. Getting some good luck too and are winning the narrow Margin games.

The stranglehold they have is what I expected. We’ll have to up our game 500% next week to cope with their intensity.

RUGBY WORLD CUP 2019 THREAD on 13:03 - Oct 20 with 1262 views | PozuelosSideys | It'll be an arm wrestle type game against SA which might actually suit us a bit more than a more expansive one the way were currently playing

RUGBY WORLD CUP 2019 THREAD on 19:43 - Sep 16 by dickythorpe | Gun to my head I'd say New Zealand. South Africa look strong again. Wales and England will just have to perform on the day once they get out if groups. Refereeing will be key in this tournament. Their interpretations will influence results greatly. |
This Dicky knows his stuff......if only he'd put a bet on to name the semi finalists!

RUGBY WORLD CUP 2019 THREAD on 13:22 - Oct 20 with 1213 views | dickythorpe | We've every chance next week. We'll start better. France were the most structured and focussed I've seen for a while. A moment of idiotic thuggery lost them the game. Massive weekend ahead!

Yes, we’ll done Dicky but maybe not the hardest rugby predictions to make😉. I believe like you that next week will be different against SA. Whether Wales will have enough over 80 mins will be revealed next weekend. Likewise, whether England will have enough for the challenge I don’t know but I genuinely believe they’ll run them close. You rightly say refereeing interpretations will be important and indeed may be the key in that game. NZ tend to get given more than others. Anyway, here’s a question. Would you take a Swans loss in return for a Wales win?
