Injuries are generally what take their toll in their early 30's, we know Ash has no serious injuries behind him. Age isn't an athlete's friend, I'll agree with you on that. There are freaks out there, people that defy science quite well.
Ash wasn't over exposed as a youngster like a lot of top players, his body was relatively mature when he started to play professional football at a decent level. Maldini played into his 25th season, there are people out there defying logic. | | | |
