It's all part of Derby's long term plan...to be a bankrupt conference club.
Actually, if you think about it, getting Redknapp onboard does make perfect sense. Derby have spent aeons trying to get promoted. Somehow, Redknapp's 10 men snatched victory from them at Wembley. Derby's board must be thinking that only black magic could explain Rangers' victory that day. Having tried all other strategies, The Rams are now considering giving Redknapp and his bat and newt filled cauldron a go.

They must thinking about promotion this year though surely? They must be thinking back to when Harry "out thought " them in the final
If they don't get up this year they'll be tied up with an embargo next, and H likes to spend Doesn't make any sense
I would guess it is something along those lines, with Harry regarded as a quick fix/miracle man/big name. I wouldn't take Harry's title as 'Director of Football' any more seriously than Mel Morris's statement the week before he sacked Clement that he believed Clement was 'one of the outstanding coaching talents of his generation'.

Ssshhhhh Clive. For goodness sake, let the poor bar'stards sign him up first. Then we can crow and say we told you so. Right now is the time for some of that earnest gullet-tickling journalism, placing a halo around harry's head, only letting it drop to his neck as a noose once he's fully ensconced in his, ahem, coaching duties.
Just heard this on the radio, and burst my ar$e laughing
It reminded me straight away of my neighbour who on his umpteenth court appearance for salmon poaching was hired on a nice wage by the Judge as a bailiff. The clumsy attempt at poacher-turned-gamekeeper predictably backfired gloriously with Seánie using the sonar-equipped government boat to find even more fish.
I can only think that the Judge has a cousin who owns a football team in Derby.

What the Fcuk is that and who the Fcuk are Derby ?? Shame that old east end crook wasn't in the dugout last week as he would have got dogs abuse
And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot

How long before his arselicker-in-chief in the press, Martin Samuel, will be banging the Harry drum?

Bondy will be dusting down his vinyl copy of The Power of Love and booting seven shades off the smoke machine. I wonder if Arry has perfected his tea slurp. No doubt Rosie is chasing her tail.....ffs Derby RIP

Amazing, absolutely bloody amazing, I really have heard it all now.
Big job, massive club, fin-tastic opportunity Geoff, coodn't turn it darn.
I wonder if he'll start referring to Derby as "them", "they" and "the club" as he did for us over his tenure, charlatan had no empathy with us whatsoever I'm hoping Sandbanks floods specifically around his house and he drowns in turd filled swell
