We have dropped four points in the last 2 games. Those two games may cost us come end of season. Its alright saying we played well, but in football that is not enough. You have to get results! The Official Swansea City v Crystal Palace Weekend Match Thread on 16:54 - Feb 6 with 2338 views | DanGom1 | Played well, can play better, just couldn't get that killer goal unfortunatley, we really need to stop being so sloppy at the start of the 2nd half, its costing us! Leon was superb! MOM, and Barrow I think earned a start next game!

The Official Swansea City v Crystal Palace Weekend Match Thread on 17:00 - Feb 6 with 2101 views | Griffting | defending corners is the most basic level defending and we really cannot get it sorted out. 12 or so goals conceded from corners this year is not really acceptable in this league. And have we actually scored directly from one? So frustrating. We continue to pick up points but still loom over that relegation area. 4 points dropped from corners in the past 2 games. Please fine a solution FG.

This is the problem we have now though. We are back playing the sort of game which suits the players we have, and we are playing it well. But simple, basic set piece defending is costing us over and over again. Look at the last few games. Teams have played the same way against us. Put out the tallest 11 players they have and keep the ball in the air. We have shown we cannot deal with it and every side will keep doing it between now and the end of the season until we learn.

The Official Swansea City v Crystal Palace Weekend Match Thread on 16:52 - Feb 6 by DanWelsh86 | The fact we're unhappy not to get all 3 is a good thing. At least we're not in meltdown over another loss. If i'm honest we'll probably be above palace at the end of the season, I have no worries we'll stay up. |
Don't worry. There'll be a meltdown anyway from the usual Drama Queens.

Barrow did really well. Deserves a start. Could give us an option for free kicks on the right side of the box as well. Good left foot.

He offers nothing around the box and isn't quick enough on the counter. I see a better potential of scoring goals if Barrow plays. [Post edited 6 Feb 2016 17:52]

The Official Swansea City v Crystal Palace Weekend Match Thread on 17:59 - Feb 6 with 1659 views | AnotherJohn | Just back and feeling a mixture of disappointment and determination not to overreact. This was another game where the second goal would not come. At the other end we still look shaky on set pieces. One positive for me was Barrow. I thought bringing somebody who gave us an out ball was much more effective than trying to shut up shop with Amat. Gylfi looked sharp in shooting practice and came up with the goal again. There were passages of play where we looked very good, but we have to learn to get more bodies in the box and take our chances. [Post edited 6 Feb 2016 18:06]

We are missing a midfielder that can split a defence with a good pass. Our midfielders need to move the ball quicker and that will exploit the gaps [Post edited 6 Feb 2016 18:51]

We'll draw and nobody will know how to react. Nailed. I'm just glad we're finally playing some decent stuff, even if we did go AWOL for 20 mins either side of HT.

Spot on, no room in the team for Britton and Cork,Ki if available next week must come in for Cork.No question 2 points dropped today, feel we are at our best when we get the ball forward quickly slow motion against Southampton will bring us nothing.Just goes to show that in the PL nothing must be taken for granted.
The Official Swansea City v Crystal Palace Weekend Match Thread on 19:19 - Feb 6 with 1348 views | monmouth | Played well but I'm a little bit doom and gloom ifI'm honest. Not sure why. I think it's because 4 points that I think we should have got, against currently the shittiest teams in the league have deserted us through penalty area pinball, when our attempts at that are always blocked. Important not to lose either game though, and I think we'll get better. Just a bit cheesed off tonight for some reason.

Think its getting to the point of us needing a dominant CB who can head the fuking ball and can impose himself, Fernandez as good as he is seems to shut his fuking eyes going for the ball, it looked that way when he attacked the ball in the box going for goal in the 2nd half.

Cheer up. You could have watched your team scrape a 0-0 home draw against MK Dons with next to no chance of being in the PL next season. You can get 6-1 on us not being there next season.

Agreed. 4 extra points now chances the rest of the season. We're still in sqeaky bum land as things stand. Got to finish games off, but that's our achilies heel. Looked like we could have played for another 3 hours and not scored from open play.
