I see that an investigation has now been launched into whether English coaching staff illegally approached the match officials at half time. Supposedly there is video footage of it.
One thing that hasn't really been mentioned about the match is the officiating.
Given the pressures that Monmouth referred to earlier in the week about the 'desire' for England to go through, the refereeing was very fair and unbiased - the match officials did a good job of not bowing to any pressure to be 'homers'.
Frenchman main ref , Irishman assistant - withstood the pressure fair play.
Heard today about them looking at the process of setting up groups, not just the top three in our group but also it pretty much boned Fiji of doing anything. yet they aren't the badly ranked and in more fair groups they could have had a shot.

I read something last week, that if England did not make it out of the group, World Rugby would look into the draw process for future world cups. Why England? What if Wales or Australia had not made it (hard to believe, I know), would they not give a f**k then?
They should of course look into it, the draw should be made 6 months out, not 3 years.
Yes, Fiji have been f**ked up, just as much as England.

Agree with the timings of the draw. It was done in December 2012 just after we had drawn with Fiji and lost the 3 other autumn internationals so we ended up 9th. Since then I don't think we've been outside the top 8. Much to England's annoyance

Diverted so successfully he hasn't posted on this thread since. Excellent work.
Great news on Hooper and fingers crossed Foleau misses out as well.
You know, Hobbes, some days even my lucky rocket ship underpants don't help.

Fresh carpet - I couldn't risk the danger of the little one as he still likes to POSSET after a feed
If I'd vandalised your carpet I'd have a shoeing and I'd be talking in ansckybis by the time you'd finished with me
