Had one of these for two weeks and am gobsmacked by its capabilities. i want to be fully prepared for the football season though, and just wondering what i need to watch the swans on. I don't mind paying for this. Any advice from those that are experienced with Kodi would be great. Thanks
yeah you can side load it on the stick, to get it to set up. but the internet complains of disastrous buffering problems, which probably has to do with the low ram and possibly processor but I don't know its specs. Though i'd a hazard a guess bridging it via APB and running it from another device like a decent smart phone, tablet or even PC would sort that.

Is all this possible via the xbox one?
don't think so but not sure XMBC was designed for players of Xbox who wanted to be able to do more while gaming , so at time was independent of console but that may have changed
Before going out at buying an off the self product, just download the application to your preferred means eg laptop etc and familiarise yourself with it. There is no real need to buy an off the shelf product, just connect your laptop via HD cable to your TV or bluetooth etc.

There are plenty of tutorials on this very thread and youtube of how to load some great channels.
Enjoy folks!
I get appalling buffering on kodi for football; so much so that I had to give up and go back to shite quality browser flash. I tried specifying lower res to no effect. Is it because I only have a 8mbs speed broadband feed? Would it be solved with Unotelly or similar? I keep not understanding this stuff at all.

Yes its because you have 8mbs speed, try and source a better broadband provider (if possible), switching VPN may improve the situation, but you don't need a VPN to watch Vdub or many of the channels. Sadly the greatly missed NBC Sports required a VPN, play around with using a VPN and without!
Clear the cache and maybe with such a low speed dont trust wifi, use a cable ethernet connecting as well!

Thanks and where on the system to i go to search for and get them? I'll be throwing it through the window now, knew i would get on with it.
Check video add ons first to see if they're there. If not, go to System, settings, add-ons, get add ons, all add ons, video add ons if see if they are listed. If they are, click on them and click install.
If they are not there, let me know and I'll post up what do next.

No, none of the above work.
I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.
I know i'm late to the party but anyone thinking about getting one of these, do it.
Absolutely superb fair play. There's nobody worse with technology than me, but after a few pointers, it's flying along. Tons of channels showing live sports and films in perfect quality, and no searching involved either.
