On a serious note here, whilst I was ambivalent at the start appointing an unqualified manager why are you not backing him now?
You talk about being qualified yet look at that total a**hole he employed as "conditioning" coach. That tw*t was the reason why we had so many soft tissue injuries last year.
I'm sorry, but whilst this is only an opinion - to quote Brendan "once is random, twice is a coincidence and three or more times is a pattern". How many times has saint Michael left clubs under a cloud? And why has he gone to Qatar? Why could he not maintain the levels shown up to the COC win?

Ki was apparently offered more money elsewhere than by us.
And I'm not sure management experience is quite all it's cracked up to be - look at Van Gaal for example - can't get much more experienced than him and my isn't he doing well!
And I'm not sure btw that Clough, Shankley, Paisley, ferguson had their badges did they?
What is your problem with Monk and how we've started? Or is it simply that he's not Laudrup?16 matches and 24 points I make it? when did Laudrup do that? |

I'm not surprised by some of the reactions here. This season he is playing better than Shelvey (including pre season) so when Leon is back I'm pretty sure it will be Shelvey on the bench.
This is the player who contributed a lot to our PL start and got a goal for us against united, but "fans" still think that he's not good enough for our team? What have you seen from Shelvey that shows he should be in the team instead of Ki.
If Ki did really annoy Huw with the whole korean thing then I would've thought they would not want to keep him when he came back. I think Laudrup and Ki just couldn't work together and if Ki was given league game promises then it was obvious to loan him out and then see what happens when he came back. This system we have now works with him and he's showing his potential atm.
The club obviously liked Ki and had him in their long term plans otherwise they would not have loaned him but instead sold him.
I liked Laudrup and appreciated what he did for this club by winning the cup and getting us into Europa but I do think it was the correct decision to replace him with monk. At the time I didn't have an opinion because so much had happened but I trusted the club and we have looked better from it. After all the drama from last season I have gotten excited about what this club can achieve this season and the feeling as if everything's new. | | | |

Other than one good performance and one decent goal so far this season, what has Ki done in his Swansea City career to be considered better than Shelvey, who scored six goals last season and was first choice for most of it. Ki may well turn out to be fantastic this season and I really hope he does, but a handful of games doesn't suddenly make Shelvey rubbish. |  | | |

Wasnt fussed on Ki coming back here tbh. Hes done well so far this season tho, although i dont buy that the idea he put these sort of performances in under Laudrup. Considerably better now.
Would still like to see what hes like when we are under a bit of pressure against a better team too. Teams who press us high more than WBA did will cause us much more challenges defensively. |  |
