coleman on 18:36 - Apr 29 with 4407 views | 442Dale | Never seen a press release like that before. The comments about the "style of touchline behaviour" is not the sort of thing you'll often see commented on.

This style of touchline behaviour has found the club in somewhat of a quandary regarding the FA Respect campaign and attracting a family audience.' Thank God he's not managing us anymore.

coleman on 19:05 - Apr 29 with 4247 views | macro | Who though in the football league is going to employ him? This smacks of "john, your behaviour isn't what we want southport to be linked with so we're letting you go but thanks for keeping us up"
coleman on 19:07 - Apr 29 with 4227 views | olympicdale | "John Coleman has made it clear that at his age of 52 he feels he should be managing in the Football League" hard to see who will give him a chance, he earned high plaudits at Accy, but showed he cant do it at a club with any sort of ambition, hopefully hangs around in non league for a while, or at Notts County

It appears to be members only now! They were saying he'd done a good job with the squad they had. Almost all seemed disappointed he's gone. [Post edited 29 Apr 2014 19:20]

Seems from the club statement that he had lost none of his verbal charm and good grace towards officials and opposing players. If he gets another job with a professional club, I'd be amazed. Horrible man.

coleman on 19:38 - Apr 29 with 4073 views | D_Alien | Any fans comments will be similar to ours at the same stage of his time here. This time two years ago we were all pretty much for giving him free rein to "sort the club out" with no blame attached to him for our relegation, and were looking forward to what he could do in L2 Six months later we knew we'd been conned

Dunphy should never have given him his mother's maiden name.

He was arguably Accy's most successful manager of all time, and just as bizarre as the Southport club statement, he has been twice overlooked by them and novices were instead offered the job. Why would Accy turn down the potential of a return to the success he originally brought them? It is akin to us overlooking an available and willing Keith Hill. Even when he does well, at Accy and Southport, he doesn't appear to endear himself to his employers.

Aside from the bits others have already highlighted I love that it wishes them good luck rather than all the best, as in they'll need good luck to end up in league management!
coleman on 23:05 - Apr 30 with 2802 views | AlexF | useless horrible scouse arse, very nearly as bad as Eyre... I remember his final swipe here along the lines of 'why pay me off, should've spent the same money on a decent centre back' Errr Noooooo, not really, matey, I think there was more missing than that, mostly between your ears...

Thats cos they are Plastic Scousers. He was, is, and always will be a full on cowardly t"sser. He's a clueless dinosaur who perhaps was suited to a clueless club like Southport. If their fans are genuinely upset then more fool them. Hope he never gets a job in football again, a horrible little C""t of a man.
