The Frankie Friday Music Thread.....RIP on 08:53 - Aug 11 by OutWestR
Yep it was those two, plus a reggae sound (can’t remember the name), that we used to float between. Easily 20+ years since I went though and will probably never go back. Great memories though.
My standard converstion on the Saturday and Sunday was
(i) what time are you going to be at Goodtimes?
and
(ii) when are you moving over to Sanch Panza?
The music was fabulous and there was no need to battle through clouds.
There was another one in Sainsbury's carpark that I used to walk past on the way in and they played some decent stuff although Inever went.
I remember the hairs standing up on the back of my neck when I heard them thundering this out.
JESUS H CHRIST..... this weather hey? 'Kin lovely but this evening the humidity has taken me back to the dancefloor at the Gardening Club early 90's... sweaty man!
Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal
