FA Cup news

County face a trip to fellow League Two side Bury in the second round of the FA Cup if they can overcome Peterborough United in a first round replay. Both sides were included in the hat for the second round draw following a 1-1 draw at Edgeley Park on Saturday.

Peterborough will be favourites to progress through to round two as they have home advantage in the replay and are the highest placed team in the tie. Despite losing 5-0 in their last two League matches, the Hatters put in a decent performance on Saturday to take the Posh to a replay. Adam Griffin put County ahead in the 20th minute with a header following a Robbie Williams cross although our lead was wiped out just ten minutes later when Aaron McLean beat keeper Matt Glennon to a Lee Tomlin cross.
