Saints Game Off
Saints game at Norwich City has been called off and all Premier League games have been called until April 3rd
Saints will effectively have a whole Month off after the Premier League and League i & 2 decided to suspend all fixtures wit immediate affect until April 3rd and given that the predicted peak of the virus around a month's time there is no guarantee that they will resume then.
This will make it very difficult to finish the season which as I mentioned yesterday brings up several options but many more problems.
One answer might be if the season can be resumed late May and a six week mini season ending mid July, this would be possible assuming the Euros are cancelled, we could then push back next season to an early September start with a end of May finish.
If the season can be resumed and finished then the break now does benefit Saints in that we will have the likes of Nathan Redmond fully fit again and we could really use him with Djenepo suspended.
