Please, please, please let us get who we want — podcast
Former QPR striker Kevin Gallen, and current prolific hitman Charlie Austin, are the special guests on this week’s Open All R’s Podcast.
Austin on playing a lone striker role: "When I first started my career I didn’t think I would be able to play up front by myself, but I’ve adapted my game as I’ve gone along. Against Sunderland I got a lot of service from Matty Phillips, Junior Hoilett and Maurcio Isla — if you looked at his running stats against Sunderland they were incredible.”
On Ale Faurlin: "The way he fought back last season to get fit for this one shows the character of the man and then it happens again, you can only feel sorry for him.”
On his Hull penalty miss: "If we get another penalty, I’ll be the first one to pick up the ball that’s for sure.”
