Eyre: "We contested"
Dale boss Steve Eyre felt that the scoreline was the only real difference between the two sides after Dale's 3-1 defeat at MK Dons on Saturday.
After the game, Eyre told the BBC:"We thought we'd have a little bit of caution in the first 10 minutes, but we had the bonus of a Brian Barry-Murphy free-kick."
New loan signing Harry Bunn came in for particular praise from the under fire manager saying "It was a promising debut and I'm looking forward to giving him a start now."
Finishing off, he said: "We can come here and be satisfied we contested the game, but there wasn't a great deal between the teams, other than the scoreline which is the one that counts."
