Sunderland sat so deep in the second half it was almost inevitable that at least one goal was going to get through.

I was in a bar in Bethnal Green on Saturday and there was a large notice telling people NOT to queue.

I asked the barmaid who was doing it and she just rolled her eyes and said it was a millennial thing.

The two experiences are very different but I'm glad streams exist as I don't go to many away games and now get to watch a load of them. And tonight I'm in two minds as to whether to go or not as work's very busy. So a stream is a good plan b.

As others have said, at the game you spot all sorts of additional things you just can't get on a stream. That's the main difference from a football perspective. Plus it's obviously such a social thing to do. And goal celebrations in the safe standing area are mental.

I was watching his 1st half performance against Watford. In six attempts he put it out of play five times and passed it to the opposition the other time. All in the space of a few minutes.

In the second half he'd calmed right down - I presume Marti had had a word with him.

At the age of 20 I was listening to a lot of bluesy guitar music. Here's one of my favourite tracks by one of my favourite artists at the time. It actually put me off learning guitar as it was so impossible to imagine myself getting anywhere near being able to play it :-)

Nile Rodgers was once asked how it felt to have written so many massive hits.

He said he didn't always feel like success because people didn't realise he'd also written thousands of songs which had done absolutely nothing.

Another person with a tireless work ethic who's very demanding on himself. Making his own luck.

Yeah I watched Black Doves after The Day of the Jackal and found it utterly stupid at times.

I decided to watch it in the spirit of a sort of Lock Stock lite TV show and made it through to the end that way.
