So you decide to post an implied accusation about QPR fans with absolutely no evidence or need to do so on an unrelated thread about Jimmy Dunne and get all sensitive about it when you are rightly called out by a few fellow posters.
Suggest you keep your vigilance and passion for whichever subject you are going on about to appropriate and relevant areas, preferably not on here. |

You can only sell players IF anyone wants to pay decent money for them.
Who would’ve paid £5m for JCS last summer based on his terrible injury record despite his better season? Let’s say we get an offer of £2m last summer for him which takes into account his injury prone reputation: should the club take it or gamble his injuries are behind him and we’ll get another good season so tie him down to a new contract and hope to get £5-6m the following summer?
Who is going to pay anything decent for Chair at the moment? Due to his two injuries and stop/start campaign he’s been in very poor form and not going to attract any interest so the club tie him down to a new contract and hope he gets a decent run of games and gets back to his best so his value returns to the levels it could have been previously. |

Looking at one of their forums they seem to think they are looking to sign a commanding centre back which is not what Dunne will give them.
Also saw (on FB so who knows) that we are holding out for £3m and Sheff Utd are now looking elsewhere.
Worse case scenario for us is he isn’t sold in the next 24 hours, doesn’t sign a new contract and leaves for nothing end of season. |

Yeah he could’ve been vague and just said he was unavailable for selection.
If today had been a home game I assume players with minor injuries would be at the game in the stands somewhere but not sure the protocol at away games. |

Logically you offer your decent players a decent contract within the financial perimeters that exists for the club if you want them to stay.
If they don’t sign then they will leave to get the wages they want whether we like it or not. |

If we finish top 10 I would expect there is a decent chance Cifuentes will move on in the summer anyhow so keeping one of our better players (who has actually played most of the games under his tenure) should be a priority. However if we’ve offered our best contract and he won’t sign then it makes sense to sell him now if we can get decent money rather than lose him for nothing. |

Those seats up in the corner haven’t been sold for years.
Nothing to stop an away fan from strolling over there to take a quick pic and claim they’d been sold the seat though. |
