Definitely want Martì to go for this one, keep momentum going. That said I'd give Morgan a rest on the bench, and give Edwards a start. --------------------------Frey Chair - Dylan the stoned rabbit - Smyth -------------------Field - Varane Paal - Edwards - King Dunne - Ashby -----------------------Nardi [Post edited 9 Jan 18:43]

I was at this one, with a couple of mates who didn't even follow football let alone support Rangers. Absolutely bleak. Was this also the game where they brought out a young cheerleader squad at half time?! I've never forgotten the bloke behind me screaming "you're a fúcking disgrace! And you porky!" at the fairly young girls dancing in the deluge, quite the moment 😂 |

Pacey players always grab the eye, and he's an easy character to like -- I've always liked him anyway. And he has definitely become an important player for us, the out ball to Smyth is important. It's been a good season for him, and hopefully he can stay injury free and add some more goals and assists. His crossing has definitely improved which is great to see. The area he still needs to work on is composure and decision making when he's running in to the area. If he could add that he'd firmly be a very good player. Edit. A big determinant of how effective he'll be in any given match is how easily the ref will buy the foul if Smyth sticks his bum out, takes the knock and falls over arms out 😂 [Post edited 2 Jan 5:29]

I know it's been done to death, but inviting the press from your goal kick does rather depend upon having a passing game that play around it ... Which we really don't at the moment. What a ball from Chair! Dunne celebrating in the face of the felled Watford defender 😂 |

Naturally. The curse is both real and disrespectful of borders. |

The whole 'revenge' narrative they had going for this match was so small-fry lmao. Even the commentators on the stream i watched were going on about it. Revenge for what exactly? A decision taken by the league? Manufacture some better narratives you mugs. |

Watching that I kept thinking of Clive's metaphor for the wide middle of the table, a load of monkeys throwing the same shit around. There really isn't much quality in this league, very few teams to fear. We weren't great, ravaged with injuries, and nearly sneaked away with all three points -- which would admittedly have been a lovely narrative reset after the post-Swansea trepidation at the prospect of another lengthy downward slide. But got to be content with a point, especially without registering a shot on target ! |

Got round to watching Heretic. Love the setup (everything from the trailer basically), and Hugh Grant is having a whale of a time, and is pretty good in the role. But feels like A24 dropped the ball on this one - after the set up, there's no film really. It's fairly ludicrous and feels thrown together. Also saw Oddity. Agree with Bluce basically. Also suffers from there being no character who isn't basically annoying. The whole deal with the giant wooden statue is hard to get past too, wtf. Creepy in places, another good set up, but can't recommend it |
