Why the F did Aribo turn and bottle it. If he had stood up to it and be brave as he's meant to then that wouldn't have deflected like that. No courage. |

Positives - Even though its 0-3, didn't feel as draining as the first 3 matches Had penalty been scored, different game. 1st half hour was great. Dibling has makings of a great player. He is going to cause a lot of defenders problems. Ramsdale was superb, could easily have been 6 or 7. And finally, rusty's hand is now forced and his favourite player is banned . Maybe he won't even get back in the side as saints go on a winning run. [Post edited 14 Sep 14:38]

Looking good. Possession is quality and moving forwards more. More crosses. Ramsdake kicking it out instead of risky passes to defence. Heard the 20 minute clapping on tv and commentator mention sfcref. Come on saints |

Just cannot adapt quickly. We see that in lineups substitutions and overall play. Cardiff game highlighted players to every saints fan but not the manager who should be clear starters but rusty simply just doesn't have the bottle to adapt and do the obvious. Anyway he knows best right? Let's see what happens, we may eat humble pie and just having Ramsdale may be enough..... |

I agree. Caught up on highlights of all PL goals and at the end of the day saints did not have the speed, skill and creativity matching anyway near most of those goals. KWP and Sugawara aside, Saints were weak all over. Unless things change fast or St. Mary's somehow miraculously becomes a fortress, this season will be a depressing slog. Saw full highlights of forest game too. They are no pushovers and much much faster than us. |

Good lad Diaz. About time Saints use the dark arts like everyone else. We're a championship team, this is how we'll stay in the PL |

Totally agree Sonic. For me, avoiding relegation, great. Mid table , superb. A few good transfers and build on it season by season after that Hopefully feel good factor from play offs will kickstart season. |

Ok. Let's bring football into it. Tactical timing. England will still be in the quarter finals of euros thus country feel good factor, flags everywhere etc etc and the political status quo will be preserved. Far more likely to lose at quarters or semi and hence change of government. So like I said, clever timing.... |

At the start of the season, i wanted play off place and that has been achieved. I know we are all fecked off because it feels as if we have thrown automatic promotion away etc etc but this has been a good season all things considered. Manager deserves the shot at play offs. He has earned the place. Give the manager another shot at improving the position next season if we don't go up. We can moan and groan when season is over. Slagging saints off when we have a relatively easy shot at Wembley is a shocker. My only caveat is if Saints COMPLETELY Show no fight in the 2 semi final games then there has to be an inquest in the close season whether to look at new management. |
