I did get to meet, chat to a number of celebs at matches though, the highlight being Shakira at an away fixture in NY in the days she poured herself into leather strides. We talked about 'soccer' - I think.!
I live about 25mins from Gillette Stadium, was at the very first New England Revolution match, a S/T holder for years and even went to a few away games, but the interest I had waned once my son wasn't as keen to go. Now I attend the occasional fixture, watch 'em on the Telly every now and then and hope they do well - just prefer heading into town for sports events, Bruins and Red Sox are a short cab ride away. I think the best teams in this league would be a relegation fighting Championship side.
