bad weather & Leicester away 20:06 - Jan 9 with 669 views | PeterHucker | Lots of snow and ice around this week, more on the way overnight & tomorrow. And I keep seeing stuff on the news about flooding in the Midlands, some of it in Leicestershire. The match on Saturday isn't going to get called off, is it? Any local knowledge out there? | | | | |
bad weather & Leicester away on 20:43 - Jan 9 with 503 views | stowmarketrange | The train line between Peterborough and Leicester was closed for a while earlier in the week due to flooding, but that opened a couple of days ago.I think it will only be ice that might cause any possible travel delays. It might be the wrong type of ice for trains to run knowing this lot. According to the met office it’s going to warm up from 0 degrees at noon to 1c by ko time, and it’ll be a bit misty. [Post edited 9 Jan 20:46]
