Southampton v Swansea City : FA Cup Match day thread on 21:07 - Jan 12 by Swans9 | All the focus is the league with a small squad. Social media wasn't around when we got battered for decades and fans said the good old days. Got to cut the cloth accordingly. If we get a result against Cardiff this will be forgotten. Don't get how everyone knows how run club better. Not defending manager. We all hate losing a bit like running house more bad days working fingers to the bone than good. Never quick fix in life one thing is for sure no manager can turn this squad into premier league. Reality is we are doing well cards we have. Southampton looked like a Ferrari we looked like a Dacia. |
Dacia.! more like a 2 stroke wartburg runnung on 2 cylinders.

They were trying to get him ready for a game on Sunday, but he is too injured to play next weekend??? Whose idea was it to send Abbey back from loan just as he was needed and no replacement was in place? How bad must Pedersen be that he isn't on the bench but 2 aged full backs are at centre back? | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Exactly A win next week (I don't see it but just for the hell of it say we do ) is just papering over the seismic cracks. Sadly we need a whole reset whatever happens next game Yesterday was embarrassing beyond belief Well done to the travelling Jack's. Shame the team didn't turn up with the same commitment and desire as you guys

We took him all the way to Southampton same day and he didn't even get off the bench when we could have given Wilson some times with the first team squad and maybe even some minutes on the pitch instead. That's pretty poor man management again. [Post edited 13 Jan 7:32]

| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

Everyone hated Duff before that, mainly due to the abysmal results but also because of the dross we played. He compounded it with those comments while we were in the relegation zone and finished off by serving up a feeble surrender to a team we’d beat four or five times in a row. Anyone with any sense could see he was getting his excuse in early. Had we been challenging for playoffs at the time, most would have agreed with him.

I’d like to see him gone before then. It looks like it’s a matter of time, so why wait for more disinterested defeats. Only plausible reason I can see is it could screw up the transfer window.

Is he trying to force a payoff? The players are playing like he’s lost them and this kind of thing really doesn’t help.

Morning It’s rare we all agree but within tgree weeks it seems our fan base want him out Yesterday ,imo, was the very worst performance since PL relegation. A total insult in goal yet one given a longer contract Two central defenders who should not even be at the club, one taking the pyss the other simply wearing a shirt and getting well paid for doing so Two of the worst wide men . Rinald the worst crosser I have seen .Eom,is beyond words. A nonentity of a captain, a craven player who got lucky with a ludicrous contact extension , Franco yesterday showed just how lost the players are . This is nothing less that insulting Owners have to shape us

I think he's given up and he isnt bothered about the team and he knows if he gets the sack he will get a payoff, what he doesn't understand because I honestly believe he is that thick not to is that his stock will drastically drop because of his comments and his attitude. I'd get rid now as we need to be up for Saturday, if he is sacked the troops will rally together and hopefully give the scum a game, if he is still in place it could be embarrassing. But more importantly we still have a bit of time to get a new manager in and hopefully get some positivity back.

Everything changed with those comments. Until then I was behind him, getting mid table results with the playing staff you’ve described there was impressive, regardless of whether you liked the style or his demeanour. As soon as he’s said that though, he’s lost the respect and trust of the fanbase and seemingly the players as well. Dead man walking.

I don’t remember such a turnaround Ok,I’ve distrusting him almost from the beginning but that’s just my nature If the new owners are genuine then they must lance since boil . We can’t go on like this ,clearly

Yes I’d agree. He probably knows his stock will drop, but he is powerless to do anything about it, so looks like he’s trying to speed things up. Once he’s lost the players, he’s not going to win them back over. I believe he knows that. Eerily similar to Garry Monk taking over from Laudrup, getting them fired up then spanking Cardiff. As long as we don’t give someone like that the job full time!

There’s different issues in play. We’re mid table with only Naughton and Christie as cover for our entire back four, no #10 at the club and a choice between two raw (being very kind to Vipotnik here) strikers. That’s impressive. Being inconsistent isn’t a bad thing when the cards are stacked against you. He made his comments after the Luton game (Darling was rumoured to be close to signing before it). Since then, we’ve been spanked twice and robbed an undeserved point against West Brom. There has been a change in the players attitudes as well as the results.

I agree It's been sudden hasn't it For the likes of fire boy to feel such disenchantment shows how bad it is If he feels so bad then it's no wonder thousands have walked They will return though

I’ve got broadly the same mindset as Fireboy. I’ll back a manager unless they are as obviously out of their depth as Bradley and Duff. Once they make it clear they don’t want to be here, that changes. I’d guess this board was roughly 50/50 split on him before. It’s pretty much unanimous now. Fans at the ground will follow soon if we keep playing like we are. I’d hope he gets put out of his misery sooner rather than later.
Southampton v Swansea City : FA Cup Match day thread on 10:11 - Jan 13 with 824 views | pembsjack | I think the limitations of LW have been clear for a while, a coach maybe, but he is no man manager or motivator. Things have clearly changed of the last few weeks, there is even less passion than normal both by the players and staff. It just feels like we are going through the motions until a party cracks and says enough is enough. I don't think it is a coincidence that one of our best performances (QPR) happened when LW stayed away from the dressing room before the game and at halftime. We all know the end for LW is near, he's happy to prolong the pain in exchange for his payoff. His smarmy little face makes me sick.

I agree TBH not optimistic that the window will see much action. Not even getting rid of deadwood out of the door, let alone incoming

I think Low will come in provided we can agree a payment structure to keep us within P&S. As for other incomings I think we will have to move out to move in, the problem there is the cupboard is virtually bare. I wonder if we can do a knockdown price on Yates and Kuharevich, I'm not hopeful though, it's buys like these that have caused us problems with P&S.
