Why???!!!!????

He’s a really good player.

West Brom will never accept £10 million BTW, he is far too good for that.

We're going to have 3 wingers and wing-backs passing to each other on both wings. The opposition can totally ignore them because there will be nobody in the penalty area for them to pass to, but it will be good for the passing stats.

Really don’t need another one for the future . Does this mean we are binning edozie?

And Sam Amo-Ameyaw and the rest. We just go on and on collecting more players for the same positions while ignoring the important ones that actually need filling. That is not a very sensible way to spend our limited transfer budget.

I appreciate that Fellows is a good winger and he's got a lot of assists for West Brom, but we don't have a centre forward for him to pass to, and if he stops Amo-Ameyaw breaking through into our first team, this transfer may do more harm than good.

No, Fellows plays on the other side.

Edozie was cited by Martin as the reason we didn't need to bid for Jack Clarke. Fills you with confidence doesn't it?

It all stinks of preparing for next year in The Championship.

Which will please a few on here as apparently it’s much better than The Premier League.

We thought that we had the answers, It was the questions we had wrong.

I put this on another thread,

Tom Fellows has made a good start to West Brom's season with 3 assists, but I am not sure that he has the track record of an end product, last season in 33 Championship games he scored 4 goals and 3 assists

Compare that to Sam Edozie who in 32 games scored 6 goals and 3 assists and even Sekou Mara who in 28 games had 3 goals and 2 assists, their end product is better in the case of Edozie and not far off in the case of Mara, who only had 547 minutes action compared to Fellows 1,490.

So in 40 Championship games in his career so far Fellows has had 4 goals and 6 assists. in total, not sure that he is the man that we need, when people are calling for Premier League experience.

I've heard he's jolly good.

Exactly. Cheap, cheap, cheap. That's on the ownership, not the manager. Fellows has very mediocre stats in the championship. He won't be good enough for the PL.

Nonetheless, they won't accept 10 million. They will want at least 20 million and we wont pay it, so that will be that.

Nketia going to Palace for 30 million. Bournemouth sign a top goalkeeper, vastly talented and experienced. We can't compete even with the clubs in and around us. Nketia is a proven PL striker for one of the biggest clubs in the league. Don't be surprised when he scores against us, and we don't score. He's much more expensive, more talented, more experienced than our strikers so it won't be a surprise, when they survive and we don't. The other clubs have better players, simple as that.

I watched Fulham last night against Birmingham, Fulham made eleven changes for last night's game & fielded what they regard as a 2nd team.
It was full of quality players most of them would walk into our 1st team.
That's what we are up against this season.
Never mind, Adam Armstrong will be happy scoring shed loads of goals in the Championship next season because he ain't going to get many this season.
