Quite interesting this and he comes across quite well. Covers Ainsworth and Marti and also mentions that he’ll be assisting coaching in the academy this season as part of gaining his badges. |

I remember seeing them in a small pub venue when they had just come over from Holland and no one had heard of them, then going round telling everyone I’d just seen one of the most amazing bands ever. Three weeks later they were on Whistle Test and they really took off. |

Sorba Thomas and Jack Rudoni great shouts. I can’t see Pompey selling Bishop having just got promoted. The Rotherham goalkeeper has a reputed £900k buy out and plenty of clubs circling so that could be difficult. I watched both legs of the Crewe v Mk play off 🤞that MK wouldn’t get through so was delighted to see them thrashed 8-1 on aggregate. Crewe were very impressive, their goalie Addai is an absolute beast, would give you plenty of heart attacks, virtually playing as an outfield left back. He saved a penalty and according to the commentator is out of contract at the end of this season. At 26 he could be worth a punt, maybe sharing duties with Walsh. The star man over the two legs was Liam Kelly who absolutely run midfield. Remember him starting at Reading and being very impressed but his career seemed to stall but he was excellent and still only 28. Having said all this I think this thread will be largely irrelevant because I suspect most of our signings will be players from abroad who we’ve never heard of. |

Sorry, but selling JCS for a reasonable fee is exactly what we should be doing. £5M, if used properly, would allow us to buy a couple of decent attacking players and a promising young centre back from a lower league side who could be coached alongside Cook and Dunne. We’ve also got Fox, Larkeshe and Cannon who didn’t start yesterday. I know it’s old ground but buying low, JCS was free, and selling when the players stock rises is exactly what got Brentford where they are now. Also, this is the first season he’s played 30 games and he could well revert back to being a sick note next season. |
