Well my optimism disappeared as quickly as the England batsmen did the other day. The club has made its bed on the CB options and all of us now have to lie on it. Let's hope this new lad is at least good enough to form a partnership with Bednarek in a back four. Far too early to despair on the attacking front. Would have been a totally different game if we had gone 1 up but we didn't and 'capitulation' followed.

Another first half in which we huffed puffed and got nowhere.
Cabango (as I have been waging on about) was well worth his place (my MoM) and Wilmot showed a lot of confidence but seemed to waste a lot of possession.
The game came to light with the introduction of Garrick and, of course, Ayew.
Routledge and Naughton both showed their class and with John, Chanda and Byers having there moments.
The down-side for me was the performance of Surridge and to to a less extent Peterson.
Early days and all that but I really haven't seen what Surridge brings to the table!
All in all a frustration 70 minutes followed by a storming finish.

No one deserved to lose that game, I thought both teams played some excellent football. Not sure about our penalty though. Good to see Nahki get off the mark and tuck his penalty as well. All this positivity about the place is confusing me as a pessimist !!!

Always knew the result as soon as I saw Prowsey was starting. That's two now he's started, no points. Djenepo was our best player, why didn't he start? Ings was good as well, why didn't he start. I'm beginning to wonder about RH now, doesn't seem to know the strongest team.

Pablo not at his greatest (nice free kick aside). Harrison all scurry and tear but end result disappointing at time. Forshaw immense. Would have changed Pablo for Costa for speed. Kiich with a hell of a shift. All in all, a little tentative to shoot.

We deserved something after that first half performance. Same old story though all over them and can't convert into goals. Ings almost knicked something though and Evans really should have scored in the first half.

Gunn was great, Bednarek is now infected with dodgy CB disease, Djenepo looks good. Not too sure I want to see Evans crossing from the wingto Redmond in the box too often. Not really what we pay him for!

All in all a lot better than last week but now left with that agonising 'if only' feeling. COYS!

One that got away. Bednarek the bad boy this week. Ings, what does he offer? A striker that misses sitters. Hoj a bit off colour still.

Romeu & Ward Drowse jointly our MotM

Who in heck's name is Evans SaintPaulVW. We have a lad called Adams?

Maybe Adam & Eve has caused your confusion?
