Somehow wish we hadn't won the last two...I wouldn't feel as gutted now. Talk about the best team not winning. If Villa stay up it'll just be wrong!

We murdered them, but failed to deal with the three rare times Villa threatened. Cesar had a real mare. Taraabt was jaw dropping amazing with the five gorgeous defence splitting passes to Remu. He came on way too late. How the foook did Villa won that - they were awful.

Earlier this week Hill said lge 2 is a rubbish league - so far he is proving to be a rubbish manager with 4 losses and just 2 wins. This is relegation form so just as well he didn't come till after Xmas!!
I think we should look elsewhere for next year's manager......

its a sad day, a point at the end would have given hope, but i think we are done.
unless we win 5 of the last 8

Excellent performance and we had Mr Illingsworth come and sit at the end of our row for a period. Thinking of moving?

Why didn't Puncheon come on as substitute? Has he fallen out with the POX? Any inside knowledge?

What an incredible result for Saints, I wondered where they were going to get any points from, now I think that they can get points from all their remaining games, home and away.

Some big performances today, agree with Bulgarian about the maturity, particularly Schneiderlin who is becoming one of the best midfielders in the PL (made Gerrard look ordinary). He was immense today and for me just edged MOTM over Boruc who put in a commanding display also. Plenty of other good performances (Clyne take a bow), great result and great atmosphere. COYR!!!

Should of /could have been 3 nil up at half time. Only ourselves to blame for not being so far in front that the game would have been killed.

Bosingwa was a major weakness from the off and should have been subbed well before half time. He cost us the first goal for sure. He was awful (except that post hitting free kick)

Afraid to say, we are done for now.

Their goal keeper kept them in it and ours was at fault for their first two, we could have had three up by half time and parked the bus.

A very bad time for Cesar to lose focus and for our back line to lose its cohesion. Samba was great but I can't help but think that this is the sort of game where Nelsen would have saved a goal or two. And possibly Green as well. Well that's water under the bridge. Kudos to the away support. A great nail biting game to watch.

On the bright side our offense showed up for the third straight game. Townsend and Jenas are a revelation. Remy good but unfortunately not great today. Hoilett made some sublime attacking passes, as did Adel. Wonderful to see Taarabt's magic again.

The table certainly looks bad but we must go all out for wins now, so it should be enjoyable watching us attack the rest of the way.
