Fully agree with you cranieboy. One goal does not make a player. The team played much better than against Liverpool, but still gave away the ball in the midfield or in their own half too often. Granero played a lot better. But when SWP came on I though down to ten men for 75 minutes. I think that there should be an enquiry as to why Hoilett did his hamstring so early in the game. Either he did not warm up properly or someone stuffed up. This should not happen. BBC were saying Taraabt was MoM, but I felt Fabio did real well at LB while most of the others were solid.

Nice finish, great result and if it (a) turns the club around and (b) turns SWP around, then we all cannot be happier.

Clive, judging by the end of the Liverpool report you should start predicting again.

Unbelievable! Watched it live at 4am here.

Lets not underestimate how poor Chelsea were and the fact that we are still guilty of far too many sloppy passes and giving the ball away. SWP was poor for 85 min but magic for 1 min.

But a much better 'team' performance and I hope this is the beginning of a renaissance in our fortunes.

Lets also hope that by Saturday week we have one or two new proven goalscorers in the side.

Fairytale ending for SWP. Great to see how his mates celebrated with him. Can only hope that the confidence pays off. Impressive play by all, especially the back line and Adel, and we found some luck for a change.

Lee Mason MoM! No major errors and he pretty much gave us a free ride after he perhaps realized he should have produced a red card for the early foul on M'bia. Perhaps there is a greater plan after all, that he was to oversee this historic away victory.

First time I have seen SWP hit a ball while balanced, think Harry had a word with him about not rushing things.

Stupefying Rangers. Just when u have about given them up for dead they pinch this result with that magic ingredient hard graft brings.....deserved lady luck ! This win will deliver further belief amongst the playing group and hopefully become the catalyst to go next at West Brom & then beyond ? A great West London victory for the R'sssss. On ward and upward roll on 2013 !

Can't see the point of bringing Donnelly on as a sub - he offers nothing and perhaps significant that they scored their first goal soon after.......
