Good news from St Mary's is that Adam Lallana will be in the draw for the Saints line up at Liverpool on Saturday, the former Anfield hero has been given ball number 10 in the draw which will be made at 1.30pm on Saturday.

Adam Lallana has had an injury hit season, or has he, has he just been unlucky in Ivan Juric's pre match team selection draw.

The veteran midfielder who in his first spell at St Mary's made Messi look Sh*te, is set to return to the first team squad for a return to his other former stomping ground and at 1.30pm will be sitting in the dressing room with his fingers crossed awaiting news as to whether he will have got lucky in the pre match team draw for the first time since the win over Ipswich.

He will hope that hi is one of the first 10 balls drawn, meaning that he will be somewhere in the starting line up, even coming out 2nd or 3rd in the draw which will mean he will play in the centre of defence will be gratefully accepted, or if not that he comes out in the first 5 of the substitutes draw and will get on the pitch at some stage.

Luckily he will know that in advance as after the name of the subs has been drawn, Juric will make the draw for which minutes they will be brought on.
