The visit of Lincoln City in the Carabao Cup has been brought forward a day to Tuesday 20th December, 24 hours before the scheduled date due to strike action planned by the Medical profession next Wednesday, meaning that crucial medical cover at St Mary's cannot be provided.

A statement issued by the club announcing the change had this to say.

"The club has taken the difficult decision to bring the fixture forward due to planned strike action by crucial medical services on Wednesday 21st December.

For supporters who have already purchased, all tickets for the game remain valid and will grant access to the stadium on matchday despite having the original date on them.

Should you be a ticket purchaser who is unable to attend on the new date, please put this in writing to refunds@saintsfc.co.uk. Refund requests must be made by 1pm on Monday 19th December. No requests after this date will be considered. Please note, refunds are not available on Hospitality bookings."
