Sky Sports after watching Everton & Bournemouth's long ball game as employed against Southampton recently, decided that there was only one channel that could host the fixture between the two clubs.

Therefore when Sky Sports where deciding on which channel to show this final day fixture it was no contest and Sky Golf was selected.

There will be no Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher but Nick Dougherty Sarah Stirk and Robert Lee will turn their hand to football to bring an interesting take on the game.

The cameras will be behind both goals to get the birds eye view of the tee shots or goal kicks as they would normally be known and detailed analysis on the players swing and both long and short games will be available rather than possession and shots on target, a stat that Bournemouth rarely trouble anyway.

7.Niblick - An old-fashioned Scottish term for nine iron or in football usually an overpriced player from Croatia.

8. Marker - In Golf a thin, flat item used to mark the position of a golf ball on the green to prevent your ball obstructing other player's shots, for Saints a thin tall item usually 6ft from the nearest opposition player that doesn't obstruct other players shots.

9. Ground Under Repair - In Golf an area of the course under maintenance and if your ball lands there, you can remove your ball without penalty, in football it is a sign at Fratton Park pointing out that it is falling down.

10.Free Drop - In golf when a player is entitled to make a drop without a penalty stroke, in football usually described when Pompey go into administration and then drop two divisions in the same number of seasons.

11. Fairway - The short-grass area between the tee and the green, in football used to describe the distance between Saints and Pompey in terms of league positions.
