New managers, new players and none of it seems to ever make much difference. We're still shit and it's only a matter of time before we go down again. Just wondering if any other supporters can see this changing, and if so, how?
Surely it's only a matter of time before the FA give him the Spanish Archer. Baffles me how he ever got the job in the first place. I appreciate the U21 coach doesn't require an outstanding career pre-appointment, but he was always rubbish. Not even mediocre. Just absolute, pure 100% crap.
Can anyone explain what the deal is with the Leeds love-in. Seems a valid question with them currently 2 down at the hammers. But the way some commentators go on, it's like Leeds have reinvented football, when they're actually just another mid table premier League team.
They'll probably produce a miraculous comeback now ðŸ˜
I've experienced a strange phenomenon: I'm actually looking forward to watching England. Feels weird.
Still have pretty low expectations but they try and play football, most of them are vaguely likeable, and with the addition of a playmaker (Grealish?) and a reliable centre half, they might be half decent.
For all the people wanting Rangers to stabilise with a bit of mid table mediocrity, I have good news: 14th place, 11 points off the play-offs. 11 points off the relegation zone. Goal difference of 0.
Woo-hoo, I'm so happy. Ok, that might be a bit of an exaggeration, but this is just what the club needs. Reappraise, reassess, regroup, and hopefully start getting better. Of course, it's Rangers so it could always go the other way!
For those of you that have Netflix I thoroughly recommend this series. Life and times of Pablo Escobar. Actually makes him look like quite a cool guy, apart from all the murders.
After you sack saggy chops and his crew. Promote Hill to asst manager and insist whoever comes in has to work with him. Don't forget the decision he made in the play off final that harry was too scared or stupid to make. Hill will give us identity and continuity.
Hi Thought I'd follow Bosh's lead and let you know about some writing I've published on Kindle. Unfortunately it's not free (not yet anyway) and it does cost, but only £1.53.
It's a collection of three short stories called "Temptation plus two". I can't do the link thingy from Amazon but if you're interested just do a search on the title. Description is below (any comments welcome):
"A perfect companion for a long journey, short journey, or just to read because you want to.
These witty and incisive stories show how we all want to change in some way, shape or form, but don’t all react the same way when change comes along.
Temptation: Colin is drifting. His wife, two teenage kids and steady job are no longer enough for him. He needs excitement, he needs purpose, he needs something to happen. But what is he going to do if someone gives him that chance?
Expediency: Dominic has a good life, but it would be even better if Sophie was in it. He knows he has to be a better person to keep her, but can he take that step?
Last Supper: She accepted her ex-boyfriends dinner invitation but Kerry’s not so sure she made the right decision. All she wants to do is make sure he’s not a danger to himself, then leave. Unfortunately, it isn’t always easy to predict the behaviour of a paranoid schizophrenic."
