This is a wind up right? Your 1st post is a rant about people not posting about a subject which you only mention in passing. It would have been far easier just to post your own tribute to Sven. |

Going off twitter it would seem that the away kit, (possibly 3rd kit as well?) will be released at 10:00 tomorrow. Hopefully it will be better than the home effort which for me at least is somewhat underwhelming. |

I was going to post sarcastically that surely he would jump at the chance to go to bury and manage such a big and famous old club! Then the the kings of delusion go and do my job for me, I bet they expect he would do the job for free, unbelievable Jeff |

The point I was making was about comparative sentencing. Maybe the JSO protesters deserve the length of their sentence, maybe they don't. To be clear I have no sympathy for the Tarquin's of this world who think it's ok to deface/damage property or artworks and a spell inside would bring reality crashing in on their nice little middle class lives. As for the far right protesters I would throw the book at them. What they did fits the legal definition of terrorism. It was a pogrom and those who set fire to the hotel should be charged with attempted murder, they may say the got carried away in the heat of the moment but they tried to burn families alive. The government have said will fast track the sentencing of those convicted of rioting and free up prison spaces. The Bibby Stockholm barge is currently empty having been emptied of asylum seekers and houses up to 500 perhaps we could put the rioters in there, I do like a bit of irony. Thankfully last night showed that the far right are still in the minority in this country. |

Nice happy trip down memory lane there thanks TVOS. Have to say the kit looks so much better when we play in stripes and white shorts, that Nike/MMC was a classic. |

Seem to remember Steve O'Shaughnessey scoring a couple of cracking free kicks. I've got it in me head against Northampton and Scarborough? |

The best of the bad bunch that made the final four in my opinion, hope the away and 3rd shirt options are more inspiring. |

Re the kit, I went in the club shop pre Carlisle to have a look round (still ended up buying a hoodie) and the bloke in the shop was saying that the order was only placed 5 weeks ago because we had no money until the takeover was formalised, to me that really brought home how close we were to going bang. I know the merchandising debacle seems like a large step backwards but with everything going on at the club I am happy enough to let this season play out as it will. What happens next season will show if we have got to grips with all the things we moan about re fan communication The owners have a three year plan, the manager has been given a three year contract and it seems to me that we are signing younger players on longer contracts with a view to improving them. Now the proof of course will be on the field, but the performance on Saturday gave me hope and I'm now looking forward to me trip to Boston. Having said all that It's not been this difficult to get hold of a shirt since I used to cycle up to the all-in-one every day after school to see if they'd been delivered! |

Having now actually seen the video, I think I was somewhat premature with my initial reply. The bloke was incapacitated at the time and the force used seems disproportionate. The officer responsible has been suspended and an investigation will take place. Andy Burnham's statement seems sensible unlike those by Richard Tice and Lee Anderson. I won't comment further. |

I have to say I'm not normally a huge fan of the police but in this instance I have no sympathy for those that got a good kicking. If you going to give it out you have to expect to get it back. |

Some training/ leisurewear available at the club shop according to the OS not a lot to get excited about IMHO, it does seem to be a bit of a s*** show compared to last season. |

Have you read / listened to "how they broke Britain" By James O' Brien? Tells you all you need to know about why we are in the s*** we're in in this country. |
