No idea if true, but a Tranmere fan with whom I went to uni with, has just gone nuts messaging me asking if the rumour he is hearing, that Gill's wanted by them as their next manager is true?

The difference between a team at the top and one lacking true quality. Cardiff have looked threatening on times needing several chances for a goal, however it always seemed Sheff U could score at will. |

I'm pretty sure we still are getting installments on the McBurnie transfer (significant payments too), so Sheff Utd having issues isn't a good thing for the club. |

Normally I'd agree, but he's looked like this since he started. I do feel some sympathy for him in some ways though, as he is so far out of his depth at Championship level. He needs a solid defence to help him, but with Wood and Cabango mostly in front of him, he genuinely has had zero help. |

I'd take Carrie Fisher in her current state than Andy. It's hard to imagine a more nervous, fragile looking keeper playing at this level. His decision making is woeful, and his lack of ability to command his area beggars belief.
Then again what's in front of him protecting his net, he could be the second coming of Dino Zoff, and I think he'd still see more action than a pro down Tiger Bay. |
