A clock is the obvious solution.

However, 94 minutes of that shit was more than enough for me. And, Mick Lynch or no Mick Lynch, there’s a train to catch.

A role reversal — Report
at 12:49:17

Blackpool game, Albert could barely move towards the end and although Johansen was taken off in second half, he could barely move either. MW has held his hands up to it, those two are important players but not up to the three games a week scenario.

We have a number of influential players in the 30+ bracket, hopefully they can get their games back together as the midweek games tail off during the final two months of season.

And all I ever knew - Report

Couldn’t agree more.

Willock is a wonderful footballer, we need to galvanise as a team and take advantage of having a player like this. Dickie and Dieng seem to have lost a lot of confidence since a couple of live TV howlers, they need to stop feeling sorry for themselves and crack on, top six really should be achievable for this squad.

Odubajo completes QPR’s summer — Signing
at 08:59:46

Having once had a serious knee injury I can never understand why any club would sign a player who’s had a serious knee injury. Whether the knee recovers or not the head seldom accepts it.

I like Moses, wanted us to sign him from Orient, so hope he’s one of the few who can get over it. Amos and Field already two men down we can’t afford too many others.

Nicely captured. Probably saved myself from a double ACL with those wooden seats but god I do miss these type of games.

Kane and Pugh make it a summer dozen - Signings
at 10:30:23

Yep, don’t care if we lose our first four games again as the new intake get to know each other.

Having suffered the last four seasons, at some point, I just want to walk down to the ground not just hoping we win but expecting to win.

I’ve genuinely forgotten what that felt like.

End of Term Report 17/18 — Midfielders
at 15:17:41

Agree with most of this but I'm still baffled how Luongo won fans player of the year over Scowen or Freeman. 2 assists this season, from that position, I'm sure that's no better than his previous two years.

As for spending 3 years patiently creating a salable asset, didn't he cost us £3 million as a 22 year old? I wouldn't rate our chances of getting that back.

How was your Friday? - Report
at 17:24:50

By the looks of it my Friday was just like yours, excellent piece of writing you captured it perfectly.

Our first away game this season, quite how you and a select few hundred others manage to put yourselves through this week after week, you deserve a medal.

Properly felt my age last night, at 58 stuck stood up for an age in a cage and then fed like some kind of reverse mincer into that feckin train, the hips are finally moving and feels like I'm nursing a broken rib. It's not easy supporting this club.

A stirring end, and lessons learnt, but another defeat — Report
at 10:49:07

You've got it spot on but I'm still worried that , despite us creating chances, being worthy of a draw at the end, there's a consistent theme of the opposition dictating the game, particularly when it's still all to play for.

From Brighton to Burton, and not the only teams to come here this season and never look like losing.
