This is a very interesting read.
at 16:22 29 Mar 2023

This will probably my last post on here (some say good riddance), but this article can easily be edited to QPR, Tony Fernandes, Old Oak Common, Premier League, Championship, League1 and of course Les Ferdinand the Director of Failures.

I won't bother coming back on here to read any comments.

Season ticket cancellation
at 12:45 15 Mar 2023

I have just sent an email cancelling my direct debit for next season.

I have included my reason in which I have sent a message about the running of the club by the failure of a Director of Football and the role of Lee Hoos.

8 seasons of failing to make even the top 8 let alone the playoffs whilst thee Ed likes of Huddersfield Barnsley and Luton have. I am sick of listening to their excuses about finances and the stadium. They have failed and keep sacking and appointing new managers/head coaches , rebuilding the squad and getting nowhere.
I have asked they bring that to the attention of the Chairman.

I just received a reply saying sorry you do not wish to renew your season ticket and thanks for letting us know.

I wonder if any other fans will be cancelling or at least letting the club know their views on Ferdinand and Hoos’ running of the club over the last 8 seasons.

If we do nothing then we cannot expect to see anything different as we carry on with mediocre seasons and their pathetic excuses when clubs like Huddersfield Barnsley Luton
Brentford Bournemouth make the playoffs and premier league.

Kolo Toure Sacked...

If QPR continue with this winless run do you think the Board will act in a similar way?

Sky Sports obsession with QPR
at 13:08 31 Dec 2022

What is it about ?
3 live games in a week and 6 already. Has any other Championship club been on as much this season and last? It’s not as if we are a big draw in this division nor even great to watch.
Or do they just enjoy watching us lose so often?

Johansen’s injury
at 09:17 31 Dec 2022

What is the news on this?

We have been awful since he went off injured before halftime against Wigan, with just 5 points from 27 and only scored 2 goals.

If he is not going to be fit soon he needs replacing because neither Dozzell or Chair can fill his role.

The club should’ve updated news on his absence instead of giving news on the website that is of little interest to most fans.

Gallen thinks QPR should loan out Armstrong...
at 12:09 24 Aug 2022

... I understand to a point, but Gallen was playing in QPR's 1st team in the Premier League at his age.

I think if QPR can ease Armstrong into games it will be beneficial to keep him. We need to bring in another striker so that he can come on for the last 15 mins of games when we are leading and there is less pressure on the teenager to score.

Something not really being commented on from last night.
at 20:57 10 Aug 2022

The stonewall penalty on Field missed by the 'ghost goal' ref, Atwell.

He gives that and maybe we see a different result.

Ok, we still should have been better, but these decisions are often crucial ( as with Austin's disallowed 'winner' last season against Sunderland).

Squad needs trimming according to Beale
at 11:39 25 Jul 2022

He wants to add a right back and a striker but needs to trim the squad. I wonder which players will get moved on.

Murphy is one of those and I think this could see the likes of Bettache, Duke-McKenna and maybe Shodipo and Masterson (which would be a mistake as 3 CBs is not enough with fixtures, injuries and suspensions). Owens needs to go out on loan imo even if only until January as we need to see how he performs and whether he is worth keeping. Kelman would be another one likely to go out on loan.

Pre season friendlies
at 22:13 18 Jul 2022

I can't help feeling that we have not played enough games to really prepare for the opening game. 5 games against a non league side, one from League 2 and two 3rd tier German sides and wrapping up against Palace will be sufficient.

We need to do better and arrange back to back games using the 1st team squad players and some from the U23s and play about 8 games.

Maybe next season will be better, although I usually say the same every year.

Players in out 22/23
at 09:50 12 Jul 2022

Apart from the extra keepers we signed and then let go these are the main exits.
Austin Ball Barbet De Wijs Gray McCallum Odebajo Wallace and only signed Clarke-Salter, Paal & Roberts. Even if we add bringing back Masterson and Bonne it still only makes 5 to replace the 8 that have left. I didn’t include Sanderson or Hendrick . We already had a small squad and with 5 subs allowed we surely need to bring in another 4 or 5.
I know we want to give the young players more chances than Warburton gave them, but unless we see them play in the friendly games we are only able to guess at how they might perform.
We all surely know that the likes of Kakay Hamalainen Owens (only able to guess as he has always been injured) Thomas Gubbins are not Championship quality. The season kicks off in less than 3 weeks and then we will have games coming up every 3 or 4 days until the window shuts in September.
I had hoped for more than the 3 signings by now, but if we are only signing freebies and loans I shouldn’t be surprised really.

Roberts, Chair & Willock
at 22:42 9 Jul 2022

According to this, Willock will lose out. Obviously he will not start the season anyway, but I don't think he will once fully fit.

If anyone will lose out it will be Dykes if he doesn't get his act together.

Dozzell and Downes formerly of Ipswich
at 20:13 8 Jul 2022

We signed Dozzell and Swansea got Downes. Dozzell had a disappointing season without making any real mark in the team. Whereas Downes excelled at Swansea and earned a transfer to West Ham for £12m.

This reminds me of the strikers QPR and Brentford scouted at Exeter.
We got the useless one and they got Ollie Watkins. What do our scouts look for?

Hull bid £3m for Scott Twine
at 10:30 16 Jun 2022

He is a player I think we should be trying to buy. A young attacking midfielder with an eye for goal and excellent with set pieces.
I know we have strict financial restrictions at QPR, but he looks just the type we need i.e. young, talented and can be developed and sold on for a much bigger fee.
He could play alongside Field & Amos instead of Johansen.
