I suggested no such thing - I said, which is true, there was a nasty undertone to the criticisms of Paal, and one wonders where it comes from. Your attempt to pin the 'race card' on me shows the colour of your mind, not mine, which makes you the abusive idiot in my book, with your pathetic and bullying obsession with me - you even admit other posters expressed similar sentiments, yet you selectively scapegoat me for a mild and justified opinion.

I've reported your post, and others can/will avoid you as they see fit. Now kindly shut the f*ck up!

A good result with some very good goals that should now set the bar for the team for the run-in, so plenty to applaud. However, I agree with the poster who qualified his praise by reminding us that it was against a very leaky Derby, and there will be far sterner challenges ahead. For that reason, for me, this game, enjoyable as it was, wasn't in the same ballpark as the Leeds one.

The next three games v Portsmouth, Sheff Utd and WBA will tell us a great deal. 6 or 7 points from them, with some proper performances to match, and I might lump on for the playoffs.

They're retained as pets or rehomed, I believe. If the former, though, how would they definitely know they'd retired? If only from force of habit, wouldn't they be following their owner out to cross the road from time to time.

I wish Mr Madsen could be retired and/or rehomed!

You idealise your supposed faculty for 'discrimination', and then insult/abuse whoever's in your abusive sights as 'f*cking idiots'! I think the adults on the board can rest their case, but hopefully the mods will do their jobs and edit you out.

Somewhat strange interrogation to a straightforward request from a long-term poster, I'd have thought, but never mind! (Yes, obviously.)

You're so propelled by a need to dismiss other fans and their views as 'armchair', 'contrarian' and 'boring' etc. (three contrasting insults in one post - well done you!) it doesn't occur to you how boring, smug, self-righteous and repetitive you yourself sound. (I think that gives me four - ha!)

Congratulations on your being in a geographic position to attend games in person, but if you think that means your opinions have more value than those of us who watch on TV/streams, read everything we can about the matches (in some cases drawing on decades of watching QPR/football) and, most importantly, think for ourselves rather than in a cultish/conformist box, you're deluding yourself.

What's the latest on him? Are we going to see him back before the end of the season to power us to promotion?

The proof of the divinoty of the world is that it lends itself to so many interpretations, as Henry Miller (channelling Nietzsche) put it. Which a few on 'ere would do well to read up on. Basically, you're saying you can't understand why more people aren't (like) you, right?

Wha's obvious is people like you have no connection with fans like me, who've followed QPR as a home/away season ticket holder, Supporters Club member, fanzine writer, and now Overseas/Irish R for half a century. To be honest, you just embarrass yourself with posts like this, but carry on as you are if it makes you feel better to put down the likes of me to prop up your own fragile self-identity.

I enjoyed your answer, fellah!

On balance, maybe, 4-2 wouldn't have been improbable.

The offside goal was very close, and on another day might not have been given. They had 7 goal efforts and shaded the possession, which isn't bad at all, given the result. Their deflected shot wide in the first half, or the volley over the bar - one of those goes in, and it's a different game.

But, look, I'm not really arguing with you. We scored some great goals and obviously deserved it. I'm happy(ish)!

I did/do enjoy it, but it doesn't alter the fact that 4-0 flattered us a bit. Perfectionists are driven by passion, and that's how anyone keeps improving at anything. (Not a culture that's been intrinsic to QPR over recent years, and I've been following them from 50, so have hopefully gleaned one or two things in comparative data over that half-century.)

The people at the top of their game in their profession - from Dennis Bergkamp to Alex Ferguson to Gordon Ramsey (rather than, say, Chris Ramsey) and David Lynch - always want more from everrthing they do. That's why they excel.

Paal wasn't poor, despite the comms pronouncing his name 'pall'. There's a real vendetta against him by some on this board, which is unpleasant, and one wonders about the reasons behind it.

Very emotional guy, especially about his sight and his dog.
Wonderful player, and such a throwback.

Saito and Edwards
at 00:22 15 Feb 2025

I'm still creaming over Koki's supernatural leap over Callum the Elder for Chair's second goal. He's 5'7; Elder is 5'11 - I did my research, people! - but Saito must have risen a foot above him to win that header. The goal, as a whole, was a thing of utter teamworked beauty. Perhaps they should put him up against Callum the Younger next time?

This smiley, skilful, uberrespectful guy is going for big, big money one day, but I hope with all the contents of my Pandora's Box we can hold onto him for as long as possible.

I also think Edwards is going to get better and better. If we could somehow sign him for next season, that would be massive for us.

It's all we want as fans, isn't it? To hope and dream, and look up at the stars?
