But if we based Marti just on this season then we'd all think he wasn't good enough. The fact is he worked wonders last season so has credit in the bank. Ainsworth was unconvincing to say the least in the first season, and catastrophic the following. |

I downloaded Twitter and used it solely for QPR news. Pre Musk I thought it was the best social media about, with extremely entertaining moments which were easy to follow. Now it is all divisive b*llshit. Whichever political ideology you have, the app has now turned into cesspit for anger from both sides. You can say I'm being 'woke' but I am centre politically and constantly seeing complete and unregulated racism, sexism etc etc on a daily basis and it being lapped up and applauded is pretty disgusting. That isnt free speech, that is hate speech. If you said that on the street you'd get a night in hospital, just because you're doing it online doesn't give you a free pass. Likewise how the only 'left wing' views I ever see are of extreme nature. There is zero balance in anything, just people saying the most outrageous things to get attention. Anyway I left twitter today. P.S. Musk is a tw*t [Post edited 19 Nov 16:54]

Everyone immediately went from screaming at the ref for a penalty to then pretending we had scored a goal. Very amusing, and the ref was probably happy it came on when it did too! |

First time in a while I've woken up, thought about the game later and my mood worsened. I'll be there but not out of choice. |

Fantastic summary. Only thing I'd disagree is I thought the ref was just really weird. Wouldnt say necessarily bad, but I couldn't understand some things, like the drop ball? I think Marti has been sold a dream here, the players brought in don't look good enough so far, and his idea of 433 is IMPOSSIBLE with Madsen who strolls around more than a newborn. Something about Nourry I just find really unsettling... Marti still deserves much more time to turn this around, we were rotten before he came and hopefully he can work some magic again. Not a 'must win', but if we continue being as poor as we have been against Portsmouth... then I will begin to get worried. But I trust Marti to have worked the players hard over the break and come up to a solution. |

I totally understand and know he does care about the club. The only thing I am struggling to understand is never once was he happy or gave praise to Marti last season, but after starting this season poorly it is 'HA! Told you!' There has to be a balance, you cannot be silent when it's going well, and pile one when there is concern. Just like how these twitter #bring boys can't accept that things are bad at the minute and there is legitimate concern. |

I've never known someone so desperate to be proven right. Almost like he's enjoying seeing us struggle, it's really weird |

Worrying times for sure, but anyone suggesting (I know it isn't many people) Marti should go has very short term memory. We were absolutely atrocious for 4 (including end of Warbs & Beale's reign) managers, only Marti seemed to be able to steady a sinking ship last season, I trust him fully to turn this around. But he needs to be pragmatic, like he was last season when he came in. If we continue this tippy tappy nonsense brainrotting football, then questions need to be asked. |

This makes an absolute mockery out of the football pyramid. The previous transfer record in Lg1 was £3m... Brum have broken that 3 times in one window, with this one the biggest by far. We've seen money kill the prem, now the championship, it seems like this won't stop just there. Absolute farce. |

I think maybe we're all a little bit scarred about strikers after the past few years. Celar has looked decent to me, getting better each game. We need to give him time to adapt to this league but I've seen enough to suggest he's technically able for sure with good positioning. |

How can you watch yesterdays game and think Dykes does does more and holds the play for others better than Frey. Frey showed better hold up play yesterday than Dykes has in three years. He also looks much fitter than last season, as far as I'm concerned Frey could be like a whole new signing that we had written off as not good enough |

Personally I thought Frey looked impressive last night. Some nice footwork, hold up play and a great strike for his goal. Also... HE PRESSES. |

No matter your opinion on how good Armstrong is... a potential £3.5m sale with one year left on his contract is a f****** miracle |
