Never had a proper drink until I was 16 . Then introduced to Shepherd Neame beer Hurlimann in a Ramsgate pub …holy hell I was poorly . And the next time ..and the time after that . Such a strong lager but it felt different from other beers . The Swiss always claimed that the sugars in it numbed the brain. Not sure about that, but it certainly worked 🤣.
Set me and the band up for the next 30 years of being ‘renowned’ heavy drinkers but that tag got boring very quickly.
I don’t drink now accept the very odd half a bottle of beer or Guinness at a celebration or something . Just can’t do it anymore [Post edited 23 Mar 13:38]

I don’t really see too many conspiracy theories on here, never mind wild ones , unless you are accusing one or 2 of trying to let other fans know what they know and that just gets ignored by those who do want to hear it anyway.

Just finished this 4 parter and it’s absolutely compelling .
Episode 2 is a strange one but I thought the other 3 episodes were tremendous .
Filmed as single shot takes (Ala 1917) so the events happen in real time .
Stephen Graham fast becoming one of our most prolific actors . His performance is a masterclass as you rightly say Toast_R.
Forgive me for not remembering the kids name ( is that Ashley Walter’s?) in his first acting role but wow. What a performance too. Especially in episode 3. A lot is ad-libbed and actors using artistic licence but it’s great .

I think some people would rather nothing was posted .
Had the same last year when I very naively spoke about Lyndon and knowing stuff and got lambasted like Lassel is now. I love talking and discussing Rangers so just wanted to share some info to ‘likeminded’ fans but big mistake .
My mistake , no one else’s . Reached out privately to a few to explain, some were lovely some didn’t want to hear an explanation.
That’s ok too.
People want proof and if you can’t provide it for whatever reason then it’s just seen as lies , mainly because it goes against a certain narrative ,if people are honest with themselves, but it’s also understandable given the nonsense that’s spewed on social media etc.
Easier to just say nothing and let people argue the toss . 😄 [Post edited 17 Mar 13:02]

On another thread , someone criticises Paal and he accuses them of having a ‘murky agenda’.
He did the same 3 weeks ago as he’d run out of points to win an argument and it’s unacceptable ti do so.
Apart from the vaguely racist stereotyping he has his Asian cultures and martial arts mixed up .

Disappointed to give away the 2-0 lead but that’s a great effort .
Saito a bit unlucky because he was just trying to trip him
But he misjudged it and it’s a red no question.
Credit to Morgan Fox . Thought he was great today. Cook limped around for a while there and was clearly carrying an injury. Edwards very good in the middle but you can see he is a little uncomfortable with the ball in there and that’s natural .
Hung on at times but chalk and cheese to Tuesday in desire and commitment.

This is definitely not the gospel but heard Varane was out for the rest of the season too.
The same person got Field right but I hope to god this is just mixed info.
But the lack of any mention of him , the longer it goes on , is a worry . |

Yes I hope he is trying to publicly give his players a boost by getting behind them . Coaches say a lot in the media and something very different behind closed doors. That’s happened for donkeys years .
However MC has to be careful if that’s what he is doing .
You can’t do that too often as the fan base will start feeling insulted .
I don’t think that’s his aim and has a lot of support in the bank but that will go quickly if the players turn out that guff and he backs them too often after. |
