Manager called Ivan, gulags round the ground, a red wall and flags that say red army. What’s the odds any director of football has the nickname uncle Joe? Maybe we should re-purpose the Red Flag for games? Oh Ivan’s flag is deepest red Soaked in the blood of influencer's dead Football Martins flying high We strung him up and watched him die While Saint Rob shakes and hides in fear We’ll keep football Martin hanging here! |

Into heavy metal music, starts fist fights with board members and happy to have a pop at the players, fans and media. No idea what he's like as a manager but at least he'll be a laugh as a character. To be honest whoever we get we're going down, so long as he doesn't play god awful sideways and backwards football i'm happy enough to give the fella a chance. |

F*ck me they really want us to stop going don't they? because this slow play passing b*llocks is exactly the way to do that. |

Whoever it is I just want someone that doesn't play the coma inducing god awful tippy tappy b*llocks. I've genuinely been the most bored i've ever been watching Martin's teams and it's seriously made me question going to games. In fact of my 40+ years of going it's been the style of football i've enjoyed the least, it sucked all of the fun, enjoyment and escapism out of the game. I'm not saying I want route one direct either, but just something played at a speed faster than walking football, and where players actually tried to get in behind and shoot would be decent. If we go for another sideways, backwards, snails pace manager I might genuinely consider giving up the season ticket |

I thought the reason the rat was brought back was because he was threatening to pull his nipper out of our academy? Also the club don't think he's capable of being manager so it was never even entertained as an idea. |

those are exactly the questions we demand answers too Nick, the person responsible for not delivering them should be dragged onto the pitch at half time and their entrails removed in an act of public execution carried out by Sammy Saint |

We are long overdue a protest about the fact the club STILL haven't released the pledges, absolutely woeful mismanagement, |

As I’ve said elsewhere I trust SR with choosing the right manager almost as much as I trust Joseph Fritzl as a babysitter |

if he does come in we'll have to Rohl with it i guess |
| Forum Reply | Rohl at 13:33 16 Dec 2024
Rohl seems to have done a pretty incredible job at Wednesday given the basket case the club is, that combined with the fact he's been with us before is probably the main thinking as to why people want him. Also from what i understand Rohl was the person who coached the players and had the relationship with them when he was with us, Ralph by all accounts was pretty removed and very analytical in his decision making. |

The only way i'd want to see Redknapp anywhere near st mary's again would be in an open casket shaped like a urinal |
| Forum Reply | Southampton FC Sack Russell Martin at 12:26 16 Dec 2024
I was told by a very, very reliable source before the game that the club internally were fully aware of the mess they were in but didn't want to sack martin for a number of reasons. The first and most important was cost, the second was that they didn't believe they could get the right manager in to replace him as they wouldn't find people who would want the job, and the third was they didn't believe anyone they currently had in the club was capable to take on the role as interim manager. So given all of that i think if he'd kept the score low or got a draw he'd never have been sacked, and also makes me think the club have no idea who the next manager should be, which is a real worry |
| Forum Reply | Perfect time to play Spurs at 14:44 13 Dec 2024
We will pointlessly play the ball around the back and eventually give it to Son who'll score, Spurs will look toothless and there for the taking, but Martin won't allow our players to attack so that won't matter. I'm going 3-1 Spurs in what will most likely be the most boring game of football all weekend, played at a stupid kick off time so that overseas "fans" can get their fix of paint drying in before the working week starts. After the game Martin will say how brave we were and utterly ignore that his complete and utter f*cking incompetence is going to lead to us having the lowest points total of any premier league team ever. Big Ange will praise Martin in a patronising way and we will limp on to our next game, with the Saints fans wondering if overdosing on sleeping pills is more enjoyable that watching the floating turd that is Russell Martin's "style". |

Pretty sure the bloke on social media is a well known wind up and this isn't real |
| Forum Reply | Southampton Planning To Keep Faith With Russell Martin But Why ! at 13:04 11 Dec 2024
This board are utter f*cking c*nts if they think keeping him is a good thing, not that i'm surprised, the only person with a bigger ego than Martin is Parsons, and he certainly doesn't give two sh*ts about what the fans want (as the northam wall proved) |
