I think Puncheon's problem in league 1 and the champ is that he always thought he was a premier league player. I think he was probobly right. Whether people think that isnt the kind of player they want at the club is up to them, some might say ramirez is only here for the money, but I don't think thats terribly important as long as the performance is there. He works very well with clyne, giving us a really good and direct threat down the right, offering more defensive protection than Lallana on the opposite flank.
Ohh and btw...Kelvin has NEVER come good! He is a chronically bad goalkeeper who did nothing but threaten to hinder our rise up the leagues. |

Lamberts game has never been about pace so he can go on at the same level till his mid 30's at least. Compared to strikers like holt and graham who have been mentioned he is streets head in his overall play. Lallana isnt fast enough to play wide at international level, but Lambert could genuinely add something to England |

After going to Ipswich and seeing us walk the ball into their net at will its hard to come to any conclusions other than we are f*cking class. However heres my view:
We are two players off being unbeatable- Yesterday if we had another CB who didnt lose the majority of headers, get turned so easily and not communicate we would have been a lot more comfortable. Also we need a new GK, one who perhaps won't pull off the odd superb save, but who commands his box, comes for crosses and can distribute with more consistancy to KD.

I think the centre half department is looking good. Despite Jaidi being a year older, i see no problem in playing him just in the games where they have a big centre forward, as hes still our best centre half when it comes to dealing with anything arielly. I rate martin more than seabourne, and think if we are consolidating in the championship than partnering fonte and martin together is the best option. |
