I know very early in the week…..but planning to attack Pompey from the whistle takes mental planning just as Spike Milligan had to deal with his mental struggles in his “Where have all the bullets gone?” brilliant read. Being a QPR supporter has recently (again) been mentally challenging too, but we will overcome this temporary phase and go onto better things, like Spike did 👍👍👍
And yes, it is 754pm in Aus- not touched a drop. So the paragraph above is written with a clear mind, whether it makes sense or not. 😀😀

I still have lots of faith. In Marti, the squad, the rationale used to bring in players. Brentford, Palace, Fulham didn’t get success quickly. It’s replanting a garden and with getting the variables correct- the fruits don’t get seen straightaway. Chair coming back, JCs too, Colback too, Varane (still to prove himself) too. Each week that goes by is a week for the better of players knowing each other. It won’t be a pretty season, but it’s a medium term plan. We will come right with hard work, hard talk and as per Clive’s Derby report players getting stuck in across more aspects and carrying the piano. |

All the Australian sections getting together across Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne Adelaide and Sydney. I’m on a ferry from the eastern suburbs of Brisbane into town for a few beers at Felons and then the short walk to the Pig n Whistle pub to meet up with the Brisbane gang led by Dave Basset (no, not the other Dave Basset). Should be about 15 of us. Kick off 930pm for us all except Perth 730pm. |

I feel for you BC and all who have posted. Lost my Bassett in Aug last year. Her and her brother who is 11 now so I guess max 2 years to live, came with us to Brisbane when we emigrated to Aus 9 years ago. They were born in Port Elizabeth, then we moved to Cape Town and then the big trip to Brisbane via Sydney. Also thousands of walks over the years. Could not speak to others about the dog that died for 3 days. It’s hard. But it’s nature and natural and that’s what gives us all the sunshine back even if it takes time. Stay strong. It’s gets better. |
