GK, Striker and CM are absolutely going to be key. We need to bring Downes back but I think we need more quality in there. Smallbone is a good squad player but we don’t have a lot of other options in there. And we need someone to finish chances because we aren’t going to create as many chances in the PL so we need someone to be clinical.

Got to go get him (well keep him). He was key to our success and it was very obvious when he wasn’t playing because we lacked protection in front of the defense and his passing is key.

Palace ready to be picked off

Yeah I can see Palace being picked of their best players. Olise looks set to leave and I’d think Eze will too. Wharton may just about start another half a season or year but he’s going to be high on big teams lists after that. So yeah Palace are going to have work to do and there may be a chance there for us to put another team below us!

De Gea big strong and fearless? Not sure those are the words I’d use to describe him. A good keeper with great reflexes but with age you’d expect those to slow down. Not to mention he’s terrible with the ball at his feet. Not the keeper for us I think.

The one I’ve seen a few times (and I think it’s a long shot) is Ramsdale. Apparently Arsenal are going to sign Raya permanently and he’s their starter so there’s a chance perhaps?

Got to keep him surely? I know there’s a risk that he leaves on a free but he’s been such an important player for us this year with a lot of experience. We are going to need that next season and he has PL experience. Plus hasn’t Martin said in the past Bednarek is the manager on the pitch?

Stuart Armstrong Weighing Up Options

It’s a tricky one. Thought he had a good season but can he step up in the PL? We probably need to upgrade in midfield but as a depth guy I think he could be a good option.
