Can't stop thinking how much difference Sieng would have made in last season.
i know you win and lose as a team but Lumley cost us a fair amount of points. Could we have made the play offs ?
Maybe Warbs had not enough time to have a good look at him in pre season he arrived.

Of all the keepers mentioned i miss an honourable mention of Radek Cerny.
Back up keeper granted but reliable when asked for.

We need a miracle
at 10:01 27 Dec 2020

In hindsight of course ...not buying Wells but instead spend around the same money on Bonne and Dykes is a bizar thing.
Never would have let go of Matt Smith too.
Not saying Bonne and Dykes won't come good but just think we would not been in the same position now if we had a Smith/Wells combination upfront.

Going for Parrott would be so QPR ...give a youngster from another club a chance overhere without Kelman even tried.
Don't get me wrong ,liked what i have seen in flashes from Parrott and would have taken him in a heartbeat but that's before we signed Dykes, Bonne and Kelman.
Would have thought that with our strong Spurs connection he would be one of the first to arrive this season, but what do i know ?
Shame MW hasn't figured out how to get best out of our trio strikers or in fact the whole team.

BRENTFORD
at 11:21 18 Jul 2020

"we need our own BMW"

we almost had in a similar way...
Brentford got Watkins we got Wheeler
Brentford got Benrahma from France we got this Ngbakoto also from French division 2 who's impact was abysmall.
Shows how good scouting can be essential to a club.

Brentford also lucky with injuries to key players, BMW played all 40 + games this season.
Their manager Frank obviously knew which Danish players to get and to fit in superb.
Their approach of running a club shows how it can be done in a fashionable and mature way.
Surely a great and fully deserved achievement from them if they go up.

Can we nick their scoutingsources this summer? as they probably would have eyes on replacement of BMW in case they would have not promoted and best players being sold.

Hopefully Warbs does get the necessary funds from sales (BOS, Manning, Eze) to build his side to his likings and style and eye a top half finish next season.

Which football club do you hate the most?
at 06:23 10 Sep 2019

Can someone explain to a not Londener this "hate" thing with Chelsea? wat happened in the past? since starting to be a fan of QPR (mid 90) i don't remember us even to be in the same league with the exception of our recent three years in he PL.
Is it a London "this is my neighbourhood thing?

Remind you "hate "is a strong negative thing which takes energy off from the things you really love... QPR
Dislike is for reasoning and debate, hate is for destroying and being destructive.

Shame it doesn't seem to work out for Oteh.
Had high hopes for him when he played during Olly's reign.
He had two excellent chances in pre season to impress MW and supporters to be considered as a real option upfront.

Another year on loan somewhere in league one or two looks more likely now.

Maybe we should try and lure Louis van Gaal from retirement.
Beste builder of teams and getting the best out of young players.
He might even turn us from Queens Park Raisens into Rangers again.

Prospects for next season
at 06:16 22 Mar 2019

Wouldn't mind Todd Cantwell from Norwich on that list, great player, did have some very good games in the championship.
Did watch him play last season for my local club Fortuna Sittard in their season they got promoted to the Dutch Eerdivisie and he was an amazing box to box midfielder, flashes of a young Mark van Bommel come to mind.
No way Norwich will let this guy go without offering him an extension but if the gain promotion maybe we should try to get a loandeal for him.
Certainly if we lose players like Luongo, Cameron in the midfield.

Per Schuurs (also ex Fortuna Sittard) central defender who can't get a sniff right now at Ajax would be a good addition on loan.

Norwich?
at 17:35 6 Mar 2019

We already went over there all white flags up, knowing we would not stay in the PL as i remember and Leicester had the chance be in the Pl next season after and yes we all know what happened ....
they became the PL winners.
Also if i remember right they were positioned 20th around this time in the season.
Insane business if you add these things up.

Because they had a brilliant run after beating us at loftus road as have Hull and Preston.
Sometimes we think we don't matter in this league but we actually do.
Looks like we are the perfect opponnent to get out of trouble or have a go for the title.

Leicester comes to mind as well when they won the championship going on a string of good results after they won that game at loftus road due to that squirrel.

Back to basics !
at 06:24 5 Mar 2019

"Back to the basics" term is used quite common by many managers in the media and has no other meaning then protecting players fragile confidence after a bashing.

Translated for players it comes down to " You all played shit, i am pissed off and you better get your act together or...... "
Well something like that.

iPhone help needed.
at 18:44 4 Mar 2019

People slag the iphone X because they expected more innovation from Apple in general with introducing this phone.
Apple is falling behind Samsung with it's innovations, Steve Jobs would be disgusted with that idea.
Nevertheless if you once used the iphone you will feel comfortable with the 8 and i would get it.
Ask yourself what you find important in a phone and make your decision based on that.

Good luck with your choice Snipper

Getting away with it
at 10:17 3 Mar 2019

Warnock did identify the few last games before our 10/11 season that we were lacking true leaders on the pitch.
Hence he was so quick to lure Derry and Hill to join him at QPR.
Although Derry and Hill were no means gamechangers or your chances creaters/ scorers they made sure everyone (except trying with Tarbs) would stick to the plan of the manager.
They lead the team verbally and by action so others could excel in their role.

In my honest opinion we don't have real leaders in the squad albeit loanee Cameron who could take up that role which should be Lungo's
but for some reason its not his thing.
Making new entry Leistner captain is an example Steve knows this is the matter at our club and due to financial wobbles hard to solve.

Steve Mclaren and Clint Hill, Lord Derry that would be my choice for the next season.
Mclaren had us organized under old Arry, when he left for Derby we haven't been playing the same that season.
Hill and Derry are both leaders, they won't take crap and are vocal enough to support Steve in that area.

0-1 in the 89th minute by Junior Hoillet, its written in the stars you know.

We always provide a push for teams who are struggling and since Cardiff lost some ground in the last games, fat chance they will win this one.

With a loss Holloways reign might be over.
