I am not sure what we are doing to get more school kids involved. I would suggest that before each season starts, all schools are given 2 or 3 matches in advance for freebies. The school with help from the Dale can then build up excitement from a few weeks before the game with Dale branded activities as well as specific activities on the day. Cheap items like scarves, badges, car sticker to give their parents etc can build the brand. |

My thoughts exactly. 4th major concussion in 2 years. Needs an independent top specialist to review his case, and to take whatever advice he is given. Not easy when you are a young celebrity in the limelight playing for one of the better teams. However he needs to look at the long term.
In terms of the season, I like the Texans chances although not sure they will quite get over the line. Bills are looking great ( annoyed that I put James Cook on the bench this week in Fantasy football for JK Dobbins!!). Biggest surprise so far was the Bengals losing at New England, and they have a real pressure game against the Chiefs in Arrowhead to avoid going 0-2. |

Lost by an innings, and gained just 1 bonus point. The only good news is that Notts did the same and it is now a battle between us and them for the last relegation spot. Unfortunately in the penultimate round of fixtures, we play Somerset who are second, and they play bottom team Kent. It could be over before the last game. |

it was the same in previous years in terms of losing players yet we had some good seasons. This year we have just fallen off a cliff. Lancs still have more depth than smaller counties. Ultimately we have just had a terrible season and are at risk of relegation. |

Finished 3-1. We seemed to take our foot of the gas at 3 up, and they had some decent attacks down the left. However a thoroughly deserved win over the 90 minutes and now second. Dreamland after the state of the club just last season both on and off the pitch |

Bad start for lancs today against Durham. Already 10 points adrift of safety with the need to win at least 2 of the last 3 games. Looking like minimal batting points tomorrow. Season going from bad to worse |

Last year we panicked at times with a lead, even if 2 goals. Completely different this year and that was a superb second half effort against a team who have scored a lot of goals this year. Early days but that is 2 great performances on the bounce. 2 winnable home games to come so let's keep it going on Tuesday.
Nice to also put that level of performance in when on national TV |

Lancs have been dire in both the Championship and 1 day cup ( where they finished bottom). If Jennings is out they seem to collapse & Bohannon isn't having a great season. Players who have performed well over the last couple of years are bang out of form. With 2 going down, and only 3 games left we are really in danger of being relegated along with Kent.
Even in the T20 it looked as if we would come in the top 2 to get a home draw but let it slip. Now away in the quarter final against Sussex next week. |

Well what a game for him to start with. Can't remember when I last enjoyed a game as much as that. Other than a few minutes at the start of the second half we completely dominated. Fast, incisive and to be honest 3-0 flattered them. Talk about attack being the best form of defence. Good call on MOM, East was superb but Henry wasn't far behind and his strike for the second was top drawer.

Lost but it was an entertaining game. Like you say started to overplay it a bit instead of having a go. Overall an entertaining game from both sides. We should have at least scored, but they could have got another in the second half too.
Million miles away from the poor displays of last year, but it is still only 4 points from 9 and only 1 goal in the last 2 games with lots of attacking play. If we can be a bit sharper up front it could be a good season for us |

Poor first 15 minutes but we have stepped it up since then. They have made some good blocks and EEL has missed with a free header from 6 yards out |

Last season we would have lost that game by a goal as we did many times. However we stuck with it and equalised. Overall can't be disappointed with that display as we played both short and long balls, mixed it up and played very little Tippy Tippy stuff like last year. D&R defended well, but although their keeper made a good save, Mitchell should have scored that free header in the first half.
I just hope we can get some more home wins this season, because those are the games most fans see and puts bums on seats. I think everyone will have enjoyed some good football today but the 3 pointers need to start coming in at the COA |
