| Forum Thread | Football Card - 40 Teams (£20 per team - £400 to Winner and £400 to charity ! at 21:47 29 Dec 2013
Good Evening All, I am currently doing various things to raise funds for Finding Your Feet (My Glasgow Branch Managers Wife) I've noticed that this message board has a lot of people who support all types of charity's when called upon - The idea is to sell all 40 teams by the Donny game then ill scratch the winning panel outside the club shop and give the winner their £400 and then donate the other £400 to finding your feet. I ran 200 miles in November (Nothing compared to some of the hardcore eventers on here) and raised over 2k already but wanted to boost the sponsorship further and have also entered the Hillingdon half Marathon / Tough Mudder and Rough Runner to raise evn more funds. Thanks in advance. I have added some details on the charity below WELCOME TO FINDING YOUR FEET... Finding Your Feet was set up up by friends of Corinne Hutton. Finding Your Feet is designed to help Corinne 'find her feet' (and hands) and to help her and others achieve everything they are capable of. Corinne's wish is that the purpose of the charity is for the support of people in a similar position to her, who do not have the support network she has benefitted from and she hopes to push the charity forward herself as soon as she is fit and able. Walking down the street, holding her little boy, Corinne will inspire us all onto to better pastures. If you know Corinne, you won't doubt her. Big in heart, not in administrative fees, Finding Your Feet is all about the individual. With the aim to raise £250,000, this will not only be life changing for Corinne but for others just like her. It could have been me and it could have been you. Change one life and we change the world. We start with Corinne, together we are strong. |

I've only been a season ticket holder for 4 years as I used to play football on Saturdays but only missed a handful of games in the championship in the 2 seasons before the Premiership and whenever I couldn't make a game I would offer the ticket to firstly my mates then anyone around me who knows any QPR fans who would want it - I have never taken any money from anyone when giving my season ticket away as I was always told by my Grandad (God rest his soul) that's what mates do - This doesn't make me a hero but just feels morally right. I tried to get tickets for the Leeds Promotion Party for my Dad and Little Brother (10 at the time I think) and was fleeced to the tune of £190 each (From a QPR fan i know - Not a mate but someone i see for a beer now and again) Yes some will say I'm an idiot for paying It but my Brother may never see us lift another trophy so had to be done. This season I have missed 6 home games due to work / family commitments and total dis-interest of the bollocks that the Promised land is (Promised land my arse) - I heard about Viagogo and CASHING IN but still have given my seat away for FREE - I respect the people that sit near me so cashing in on some c@@t to jump up and down around them when/if united or any other team score just doesn't seem right to me and my mates think I'm a hero and that's what really counts. I guess it's down to Financial reasons why people are CASHING IN !!!!!! |

The whole point was offering fellow QPR fans a chance to win a ticket for £5 while recouping the money I paid for the ticket? Im in Northolt not Hayes :) |

I have a ticket for Norwich as I'm away for a stag do in Dublin but bought it for Loyalty points - £45 face value so propose the following if it's ok with Clive : 9 People pay £5 each to be assigned a number between 1-9 then number pulled out to reveal winner Is this acceptable Clive ? |
