Swearing doesn't do this situation justice. But how the holy f**k does a Premier League club deem it acceptable to be considering recruiting a recently dismissed Championship manager? I'm truly at a loss as to why we would do this and why this would give us any discernible chance of staying up.

I do think he will be there or thereabouts this time. Guy is going places and might just give us the "down to earth" refresh the whole club and team needs.
Compensation wouldn't be huge either. |

I can't particularly disagree with any of that.
TheRes - we have been singing along the same hymn sheet for a few weeks now. Surprised you've taken this stance and change of heart about the direction we are going in and seemingly Clement as well. The problems are still there, the alarm bells are still ringing and I don't think we have a great deal to be positive about. |

Bit of balance in between where you are and where you think some people are. Think most people are feeling largely negative about prospects and understand we aren't perhaps the prospect of before. Fact is, there are only 20 PL jobs and that in itself makes it attractive. Let's not sell ourselves short FFS |

You've clearly got it in for Fer. He picked up the early yellow for determination in nicking the ball from the keeper, and even I myself worried when he went for the ball a little clumsily but he did nothing that warranted another yellow. Can't even recall him conceding another ftee kick.
He is one of the few midfielders we have capable of creating and scoring goals. |
