Rotherham treated this game like a six pointer, we didn't. We were lacklustre, devoid of pace or a plan. It seemed to me that we set up in a 4-5-1 and looking to counter attack. This idea was flawed though as we didn't have the width, pace or know how to create a decent chance let alone score. Everything was played through the congested middle and when the ball did go wide it was to Onuoha or Bidwell who would check back and go sideways or backwards as there was no one in space to pass it to further up the pitch.
The ref didn't help either but that was our fault as we didn't compete with the same intensity as Rotherham. We made every 50/50 decision easy for him due to our lack of conviction. QPR were not up for this so the ref had an easy afternoon and gave everything to them because he knew that no QPR player would question it. |

Poor first half, with very little about us. Second half was an improvement and looked comfortable after we scored. Then they did and we looked a shambles again. I don't recall us having an attempt on goal after they equalised.
