The only positive if we do crumble from here is the thought of Jimmy bowling in these conditions, you'd imagine with a duke ball he could prove a challenge

A decent partnership between these two but Stokes is certainly riding his luck. Pre Covid we almost looked like we were establishing a top 4 so I'm glad to at least see some normality return

I also saw on Frances' Linkedin profile a congratulations from Dan Altman to her and the CEO regarding the 6 year deal with Crown Oil so perhaps the relationship between the club and Altman isn't as frosty as it appeared.

Statement from the Chairman
at 22:59 23 Jun 2020

I must admit that while I don't post a huge amount on this I have been an avid reader for many years.

As a 22 year old I would say I am firmly in the younger fan bracket and possibly the even rarer breed of young exile having moved away when I was 10.

With that said I must admit I always like us to do well but I take a far more reserved approach than the generic young fan who wouldn't touch this forum. This may be through my own naivety but I was personally very glad when I saw the news about the contracts in that I was disappointed to see players go but the board and club obviously knew there would be comments from fans yet still put the club interests at heart.

Would I like the club to be doing better? Absolutely, but the on the field success isn't everything for me, if it was growing up as most others at my primary school did I would have supported United, I think there are other niches which make supporting Dale enjoyable and while I would no doubt enjoy the ride if we were ever to get to the stage of a premier league club I have no doubt I personally would lose some interest.

Camps' leaving message was very positive and you would have thought after his time at the club he would have likely mentioned if he had only found out via social media.

While still inexcusable if true, do you think there is any possibility that it was a mistake not to tell Henderson and others were informed but for some unknown and bizarre reason he was missed out?

Henderson Contract

In my lifetime as a Dale fan his longevity as a goalscorer has been unparalleled and much as with KH I will rmemeber his time here with much fondness.

With that said, he hasn't really ever produced at any ever club in his career and while he has no doubt developed as a player I wonder if he could struggle in a bigger club where he isn't their star player.

I'm hopeful for him he can go on and do well but more importantly, I'm glad the club are being financially savvy so I can support them throughout my lifetime when hopefully another Reg or Hendo will pass through.

I'd like to see Oxford go up, I always find it a rather soulless away day located on the bizzare retail park.

I have great memories of some goals and games at Cheltenham and have family in the proximity so for me it would be great if they could come back up.

I'm sure that Adrian Durham will present a well balanced debate about this on Talksport without just favouring one side of the story .....

The Trust Newsletter email was sent this morning saying they had been in contact with the club and had a lengthy discussion with them but the only thing released to fans was the statement from the club on the website.

They do go on to say they have spoken to other unnamed indivduals with 'significant shareholdings' and none of them have been approached with offers for their shares.

On the membership front discussed earlier, they say they will be looking at memberships for next season when this season is officially concluded. One benefit for any new members is that they will be offering this at a rate of £5 which will hopefully see more club together and join the Trust

I know that I have heard many times that Football Manager have the second biggest scouting network in world football behind Real Madrid and as well as all the other countries they go a few leagues into none league here

Personally don't think it is shocking that this team has been selected at all. There is very little difference to the team that put so much pressure on Scunthorpe at the end of that game. If anything the change that was made has been to try to improve the defence

That being said I must admit I think I would be fairly happy to put some good money on both teams to score

Doesn't seem too long ago that this message board was saying how things had turned around this season and we wouldn't have held onto the win at Burton last year, fast forward two losses against strong promotion contenders and we're suddenly doomed again.

Personally think it's a bit of an over reaction and as many have said 10 games will be a better time to make some form of assessment

Bit of a bizarre request I know, but would anyone know where to find results from this season and other years gone by, I can see online our unsuccessful cup runs this year but not any of the league fixtures.

Thanks in advance
